I have always had an interest in the paranormal world and psychics have always fascinated me but I never considered myself having a speck of ability until a few months ago.

I woke up with the strangest feeling that I don't think I could even begin to describe. At first blush I want to type "fear" but it was much more complicated that fear. It was like I was exposed to something that I didn't now how to react to it. To this day I'm not sure if I felt an entity or just bleed through energy from the other-side that startled me awake. At any rate it was like I was on automatic from the moment my eyes opened that morning. I quickly got out of bed and left the house even though it was 6 in the morning. It was only on my drive that I could clear my head and try to wrap my head around it.

Since then Ive awaken several more times with similar feelings but less intense so I could stand to be in the house. Any ideas what this could be?

Also, in the past few weeks I've had what I would have normally chalked up to chance but it seems that I can often watch the news or read the newspaper and know details about the (usually its a crime) before it's released. For example, a few weeks ago a body was found about 30 miles from where I live in a burning car. They didn't release the name or even the sex of the individual found in the car but I knew that it was a white male that had a history of beating his Hispanic wife. I didn't tell any one but it was just a fact that I knew beyond a doubt. Sure enough a few weeks later it came out that my feelings were right. This is only one of many stories that I've had these impressions on

I am 23 years old and have only recently begun to have these experiences. I always assumed that these gifts would present in a person at an early age but I guess not. I feel a little uneasy because I don't want to say that I have psychic abilities but I am getting to a point that I cannot deny it. Does anyone have any advice for someone just coming onto the scene? I've tried those silly psychic tests online and of course I absolutely failed them all but I didn't put much stock in them. I can't seem to pull predictions out of a hat per se, I have to wait for it to fall in my lap.

Yeah, abilities can manifest at different ages. If you continue down this path, and I hope you do, you will see things beyond your imagination.

There are many challenges, and many dangers that you must face.

Keep this advice in the back of your mind:

1. Be careful who you tell

2. You must choose a side: light or dark (Please choose light)

3. Seek spiritual individuals as mentors

I always have believed that everyone, is gifted... and its up to the individual weather they want to awaken their sleeping gifts...

To Vita: Yay! Awakening of your powers, I think i'm still too young for it to happen to me, but as Dark said it happens at different ages. Also XD 'Please choose light' that was one of the highlights of my day.
