Hi.. I had a dream last night where I'm almost positive I was astral travelling at at least some of the parts.. the feeling I had and this kind of lucidity has happened to me before in dreams, but I never thought it might be because I was doing astral. I tried to contact someone that I knew by calling out there name mentally and out loud but nothing really happened.

My dream kind of started off with me being at my dad's house with him, his wife and my brothers and we were going on a trip to Egypt using an airship(wow!). I fell asleep during the ride lol and when i woke up we were there. This part of the dream i was not lucid, but I was soon after when i got separated from my family I found myself going up these stairs that kind of spiraled, then into what seemed like another dimension.. er.. realm.. some other place.

I don't remember much with that but I know that I had the feeling I was followed in a lot of places.. i had a few blackouts at different points too but the only one i remember was where I woke up in a very dark, empty room laying on the floor and sensed something was about to enter. I waited there until it did. I didn't like the feeling it gave me and jumped up. When it realized I was awake it tried to tackle me I guess but it was smaller than me and I grabbed it by the neck, holding it up. It looked like a grey alien creature. They've appeared in another dream before, so I demanded information on what was going on. It wouldn't give me a straight answer.. I walked over with it to the right of me where I saw some strange drain(it was lit up by electric lights) that lead down to somewhere. I looked back at the alien with "that look" that it better say something or else. It ended up down the drain. Then I ran out because I figured another one would come, and there were lit up rooms with people in them afterwards. I think after this I was mostly lucid and just walked around.

Eventually this lead to where I tried to call out my friend's name. I stood alone in an area that changed the way it looked every few moments. I called out three different names that they go by.. But they didn't show..

I don't know why I expected them to come. It's not like i knew if they were astral travelling, or even dreaming too. The thing is, I've tried to call spirit guides(if I have any) before by doing this. It's like I can't be heard at all, or i'm doing something wrong.

Also, does anyone know or have ideas as to why I can't do anything I can do when I'm not lucid? Like.. flying for instance. If I'm not lucid, I can do it. When i'm lucid I might as well be actually awake. I'm just confused.

Sorry for the long post.. but I appreciate it if anyone reads through and replies. and I hope it wasn't confusing.

Any new experiences?

It depends on where you are. If you call people in a place that is innaccsessable, then they probably won't come. The only way to effectively communicate is to go where they are. But, be gentle, you know, not everybody is into this sort of thing.

Different bounds depending on where you are. Once you cross the inter-dimensional breach, you can travel to different locations and dimensions. You should build your own realm, that way you make the rules (and you can fly there). When your realm gets strong enough, then you can use it as a staging point for further travel.

Once you get practiced, you will realize that there are dimensions behind and between dimensions. That's why you can fly and others can't, because you've switched channels, but are still visible in 3D, or whatever dimension you happen to be near.

It really is a skill. The goal is for it to be like a projection of yourself, like a movement of an arm or a leg, it is a movement of the mind, a new form of movement that most people deny exists.

What you should ask yourself is, did you create the drain, did the ailiens create the drain, or did something else create the drain? And finally, did you create the alien?

Also, I find that when you go Astral, you attract a lot of attention. It is likely that there was someone/something watching and following. Things have followed me back to 3D on numerous occasions. Can be good or bad depending on what/who it is, what its intentions are, and how you react, etc.
