Default I have discovered something.
Well, my time is short, but I felt compelled to comment on your post. The last part seems to be that you've become an empath. I've had a few such experiences, but I'm actually glad that it doesn't occur more often. I can understand your wanting to avoid the stress these encounters bring. It's a unique ability because it's hard to understand how to put it to practical use.

Usually, when I do a reading the thoughts simply appear in my head out of nowhere, very quickly and much like the thoughts you've described--unbidden, just there. I believe it's something like an "open channel" that temporarily permits these realities from the universe to come to us. Sometimes other things also appear, and I do get a lot of visual stuff that I have to interpret. How lucky you are to know what it means without having to go through the interpretation process! I really do wish that if we have to know these things, the messages would at least be obvious.

I've never had the kind of mental connection you have with your friend, but twins often have similar connections. Interesting. I hope someone can give you insight to that.

Your deja vu information was what first attracted me to your post because I've had several similar things occur the past couple of days. In my case, "synchronicity" may be the actual case, such as wishing I could for a change have a holiday vacation in a warm climate, and the next day having a friend tell me (without my bringing it up) that she had thought about asking me to accompany her on such a vacation. I had no idea she was planning this trip. Also, silly things have come my way, such as a sudden obsessive thought analyzing why Tide detergent is so expensive, and do you really get what you pay for with it. Surely, other detergents have the same contents available, etc. Today, I get an e-mail from Tide headed with the words "You get what you pay for with Tide." Huh? What the heck is so important about that? Clearly, it's random information sneaking in somehow, perhaps that open channel I mentioned earlier.

I agree with koi, seems that you're empathic. About the connection, I got one with my best friend who is also my cousin. We can do things like know what each other are thinking and also get temporary empathy for eachother. We even play a game where we both turn away from eachother and one person holds up a certain amount of fingers and the other guesses what it is, our longest streak so far has been 14.

I get those sad feelings when somethings wrong, for example when I was 9 years old I got a really bad feeling of dispare (spelling?) and I couldn't concentrate in class. I just felt super depressed. The next week i'd found out one of my closley related cousins (who I had only met once or twice) had died.

Anyway, I don't think this may have helped you emensley (spelling?) but I am circulating stories! ( I ramble to much! )

Practicle uses?

Uh..
I know! You can get on the good side of people by knowing what they feel. Then by helping them?

I guess empath abilities seem useless to me because I usually don't get it with people I'm close to. Maybe I block it because even with strangers, it's just too intense for me to even want to handle.

I also possess those empathy skills. I think that I interpret them differently though. I don't actually feel what the other is feeling, I just know what they are feeling and to what degree. This helps me talk to them and know what I should be talking about, and when to stop. I have learned that people often get defensive when you are trying to help them with an internal matter. I don't know if they feel invaded that I have so much insight, I try not to let them know and just talk to them. We usually get so far, and then they just shut themselves off. I really try hard not to come off as a know-it-all, or trying to "parent" them.

If I know what they are feeling, is there a way to help them without them knowing...kind of through subconsciousness?

Chica its not unusual to pick up others feelings. Most of us on the earth are empathic. Just means we can sense and sometimes take on the feelings of people near us. Even friends miles away.

The knowing something is to happen is prophetic. It has been happening since the times before Jesus. It is not crazy nor unusual.

It is all part of developing your intuitive soul.

Try my classes - talking to things in your head is what its all about!

You're only crazy if you do it out loud in public LOL!

That's part of being a medium. Hearing the voice of spirit and passing on messages. Or getting guidance for yourself
