I read the title of yours and this name came into my head agnightius I don't even know how to spell it LOL but you get the drift don't you LOL

Hi there all you guys, that was a fascinating and unbelievable experience, didn't know that trees can communicate with us humans and there are certain thing in this life that is hard to explain! thanks for sharing..........

Awesome experience! And I do beleive the tree was communicating with you.
If we listen, really carefully, this requires that we stop our internal dialogue, and sit in silence for a time, we will find that there is a whole new world of silent, unspoken communication available to us. Trees, plants, animals (even so-called inanimate objects) and much more are always communicating in the finer, psychic languages. I have gotten info from stones and plants as to their healing properties by listening in this way. Really the possibilities are endless as to what we can learn from experiences such as these!

Hi, I'd been gone visiting my dad in Florida this past month, and I made a friend there. I became curious about nature and if we could communicate with it. Well she was interested too lol so we walked up to a tree growing in her back yard and layed our hands on it's branches. I tried to say "hello, nice to meet you.." and basically why were there and I told it my name, then said "I was wondering if you would tell me your name?" I got the sense it was female or more feminine energy, and something that sounded like "Wah-kee-la" entered my mind. So, I told my friend out loud. She looks at me surprised and says she's not kidding and that's the same thing she got, and i believe her.. then we thanked the tree for speaking.

We went over to the large tree in the front yard and tried the same thing, and we both got the name "Ben" but with the idea that the name was probably longer or more complicated and so the spirit of the tree gave us something simple. I thought it may have been something like "Benoval"..

So .. erm.. yeah! and I was wondering if anyone has thoughts on this.. were we reading each others minds, or could the trees really have spoken to us?

Also, while the moon was in waning this month I felt as if it was a power kind of day... as in.. maybe i'd be more in tune.. I think it was the same day we tried to talk with them.

Wow SW, first of all, those sounded like fascinating incidents!

Hmm though, it sounds as if not only you had a connection with your friend, but the trees actually did emit energy/thoughts towards you guys. I mean, they are living, so they probably must have some form of communication. And as you were saying, maybe the moon assisted you guys, like in the energy transfer and whatnot.

Neato, perhaps I should try this with someone someday, heheh! Ciao!

What a wonderful experience!
Trees have spirits and I believe they might be able to communicate. I sometimes get backpains and once I went in the woods for a walk hoping to forget about my backpain that day. As I was walking down the path I spotted a sunny place under a tree and decided to lean on it and read my book for a while. I stayed there leaned on it for about 15 minutes and then headed back home. To my surprise I realised my back pain had disappered. It was really strange because that is not how it normally relieves. It takes a while to fade away. But this day that's what happened..
I told my Reiki teacher and she said that trees are very understanding as she knows things about them and loves them as much as I do. I have always been drawn to trees and love them so much, sometimes even touch them to show appreciation for everything they are and do for us.

Nightfairy: That's really cool! Nature is wonderful. Maybe if more people payed attention and showed appreciation towards nature there would be more healing experiences like yours.

Yes, I've felt trees talk and give energy.

Great experience to share it though with your friend. Its this that highlights the moment as different from what has happened to me.

I actually have a close friend that I visit as often as I can (sometimes daily) and meditate near. This friend is an old growth tree and I can tell you that we have fun a lot of times.

I happen to find him by luck, as if there is such a thing. I was walking in the Botanical Gardens near my house and sat down near some trees in a small shaded hut. It was so peaceful that I decided to meditate. During this meditation I saw myself being energised by the trees (I have done this for many years now) and after a few minutes I grew to the trees size and as I held out my hand to greet him he held out a branch to return the greeting. We spoke for a few moments and I was asked to enter his earthly shape. Upon doing this I had a feeling of gigantic size come over me and I felt my body starting to fill every branch of the tree. At this stage I also had this feeling of “At Ease” come over me. We spoke for what seemed only a few seconds and we parted company with a respectful farewell. As I completed my meditation and walked on I looked at my watch and found that the elapsed time, which I had estimated at somewhere around 10-15 minutes, was actually around 1hour and 45 minutes.

I have had many meetings with my friend and I now give up attempting to estimate the time as I have never been near the mark. The only people that know about these meetings are my Wife and Mentor.

I can tell you one thing though, I know the name of the otherworld entity that is my friend but I do not speak his name unless I am in his presence and wish to speak to him. You see I was informed by him and by my mentor that any high entity like that is always listening and if he is doing something and we speak his name he will come. If we do not need him it causes him to waste energy as well as take his attention away from what he was doing. As a curtesy to his status I will never use his name unless I really need him. I have adopted this curtesy with all my Guides and resident assisting entities.

Something to keep in mind. By the way, they do give you a name, in a lot of cases, that you would be able to relate to. When you next time walk past some trees use your third eye to look at them and you will love what you see, I do each and every time I do it I see what is actually there not what this plane represents.
