I think you have made a good start by recognizing pain which is not yours. It seems that you are deeply empathic and are picking up some of the collective unconscious which is floating around in the ether. You have to learn to let go and remember that feeling others pain and emotions can't hurt you.

The best advice I can give you is to stop fighting it and accept what is happening to you. If you can overcome the anxiety, you can then face the fear of what you are experiencing. It is ok just to be within your experiences. They cannot hurt you. Be honest with yourself and admit to yourself what it is that frightens you. I think your key is to stop resisting and try to be open to yourself. A good book I found is called Spiritual Emergency by Stanislov Grof. I found it very helpful. I hope this helps.

Thanks graduate I appreciate all the advice I can get. But had one more quick question. By accepting it, you would accept everything bad and good, but how do you remove the negative energies from within yourself. I try grounding myself but sometimes I can't focus because there is too much going on within me. Any advice on that? Thanks again..

By the way I also have had my chakras cleared a couple of times. The only problem is, is that I still feel it in my chest and my lower back/stomach area. I was told its the 3rd Chakra (place of gems) Manipura which is located at the solar plexus, and the 4th Chakra (unstruck note) Anahata, which is located at the heart. Do you have any idea how to clear those, meditating does help, but it will eventually come back.

I would love to help you. First you need to tell your guides you would like to OBSERVE and not ABSORB what you feel. They cannot help you unless you "ask". It is a great gift to be empathic as well as a curse. My boyfriend is an empath. I have to clear his aura daily from all the muck he picks up (he works as a surgeon's assistant).
Keep working with your guides and ask that they take the pain feeling away, but still let you be aware that this person has pain, but you don't need to "Feel" it right now. Hi Laura,
Thanks for the info I appreciate it. I think I actually got a little bit of a break through today too. I was talking with my ex (mind you I was expecting his phone call) and he said something to me, normally he vents to me, during this I started to sense/feel things, and I came back and stated to him that this was his karma, not mine, he has to deal with it, he got upset and hung up the phone on me. I usually try and help him, but today I just couldn't. I felt a little refreshed from that, which sounds kind of weird. During my lunch break I sat outside and wrote in my journal, my energy is way off though. I am assuming that my energy is being drained by this. I get soooo tired and I fall asleep by like 8-9pm. Its been wearing me out big time though. I speak to my guides everyday, all day, all night, its getting better. I still can't get a name for my guides yet though. The funny thing is, is that the names that come to me when I meditate are Ismael, and Jeremiah. But I don't believe they are my guides names, any help on that? I also do take sea salt baths to clear my negative energies, which helps too. I would like to learn how to Reiki myself if you can help me with that. Like I said the more I learn the better it is and the easier it will be for me to adjust. I appreciate all your help. Thank you. Casey |

I am asking anyone that can help me for advice. Since as far back as I can remember I have been able to sense and feel things. Just recently, I have been learning more and more about it. I have been getting in touch with my spirit guides, and I want to learn more. I can feel the worse things possible, I actually sensed when my grandmother passed on, it was a horrible feeling. When something bad is going to happen, I feel alot of pain.I am also trying to learn how to control it because sometimes it will get so bad, that I get severe anxiety from it. I actually spoke to a psychic not to long ago to have a reading and she said that I am Clairsentient. I want to learn more about it.. I want to be able to hear my spirit guides, the psychic said I already do, but I can't tell if its just my intuition or not. Can anyone help? Thanks....
