I have recently been very casually introduced to the concept of angels. Not like I didn't know about them before but in terms of them being "real". I grew up catholic but at a very young age became agnostic and developed my own individual spirituality. In it I sort of denounced anything related to organized religion (human minds formulating an image to explain a concept a human can not possibly conceive). But I feel my "people" are trying to get me to open my mind more to the possibility. Anyway, I do not formally categorize where I receive my information but I feel I may be better at getting this information if I had a better relationship with the source.

Long story, how can you tell and distinguish where the info is coming from and what are all the sources besides guides. I would love just a basic explanation of where our info comes from and if we get different categories of info from different sources (protective info from angels, life direction from guides, etc).
