Well without darkness I guess there can't be light. Have you ever read conversations with God? I have it on audio...it's really interesting and I like to think that we only have the dark so that we can know and understand what we are by knowing what we are not.
Or is evil only something that we create and only effects those that believe in it, or only has as much power as we give it? Hmmmm....

There is dark energy on the other side. I think the term evil is subjective but it is very clear that there are energies that thrive on making people miserable. Just as there are humans here who do the same thing. It can be as simple as when miserable people die that misery traps them here and they continue to get a kick out of keeping it going. I'm sure there are demonic forces out there too but I haven't encountered them. There are also something called shadow people (I think) which is what I've had for as long as I can remember until I cleared them out recently. These seem pretty powerless but I think things can get pretty bad depending on the entity.

For about the last week I have sensed something not right in our home. As if something wants to tear our marriage and home apart. Any advice on what any of you would do in a similar situation.

I feel and think I know when my guides are around, but I still don't have really good and consistent comunication with them yet.

I just went through this and feel what I did was pretty successful. I have to keep doing it though every now and again when I feel it again. But the fog and really bad energy has lifted.

I went through my house room by room with the lights off (mine were more apparent in the dark) and just spoke out loud. First I protected myself by saying this prayer:

The light of God surrounds me;
The love of God enfolds me;
The power of God protects me;
The presence of God watches over me;
Where ever I am God is.

I then say the prayer and replace "me" with "this space". You have to say the prayer, outloud, with a lot of belief and really feel the power of god and say it with confidence. I then just talked outloud and told them that they had no power and whatever they try will not work because I am more powerful than them and the light is more powerful than them. The biggest message to send them is that there is more power in the light and that they are not welcome. Anything else should come from your intuition. Whenever I sense them again I say the prayer outloud again. Maybe have your husband join you so they see that you are a united front and their tactics are not working.

ETA: the key is to show them you are not afraid and what they are doing is not effective. They will feed off of any sign they are winning (arguments, resentment, etc).

Using sage is also a great tool. As it does help clear your home and yourself of negativity. Do a google search for "cleanse home sage". There are tons of useful ways to help clear yourself and home. This should be done in my opinion whenever you notice things such as mood swings, depression, the air feels heavy, not sleeping well, etc.

You can also light a candle and walk around your home as well and when lighting the candle say your affirmation or prayer while lighting it. Walk through each room saying the prayer or affirmation.
