well its not your mind playing tricks on you, if you can smell him that is because im pretty sure smells cant be made up. maybe your connecting like astral projection or something of the sorts, its possible that he is from another life with you.

Do you get a sense of that you already know this guy, not from face value but from within. i get a really strong sense of knowing this person that i have never actually met.

hello everyone, im new to the board and i have a question-

i hope this is the right section- ive been having dreams of a certain person-ive never met this person b4 but i am aware of who they are. The dreams are so intense that i can feel the person and smell them, at first i thought it was my mind playing games and it seems a little odd-a friend of mine says i may have known the person in another life

i hope someone has the answer to why this is happening because im going crazy

also- ive been told by various people i have a "gift" and i need to be at peace with myself in order to develop this- can someone explain what this means

thanks for the responses- i do not actually know this person but i know of him, i really though i was losing my mind because the dreams felt sooo real. i feel as if i know him-not sure how but i just do...am i making sense?

The psychological community says that they can and call them olfactory hallucinations. Now, the psychological community, in general, is very skeptical of anything paranormal so who cares what they say.

In my opinion many times very vivid dreams especially when they stick with you when you wake up are either 1) meant to get you to change your life because you are off path or 2) past life things. I know I have past life dreams when the setting is very authentic and in the past. But my guess for you is that this is someone you knew in a past life. I would try to pay attention to any message they are giving you as they may be trying to get you to go in a certain direction that is beneficial to you. The smells and feeling are a way to tell you to listen to the message.

thanks for the reposne- i had a dream like this afew years back , it was a dream of my deceased uncle from that dream i concluded that he wanted me to get away from a particular person who wasnt good for me and in the end it turned to be true

this dream is more to do with me and the individual being together in the future- but like you said maybe its something that has happend in a past life

That was my same thought too. A lot of times we travel through different lifetimes together. Me and my dad were together before as father and daughter. My husband and I too (though I have no memory or dream of it). So you may have been together before and will be again. The only thing though is that if you are dreaming of them in the way you are, they probably are not earth-bound yet. My hunch is that it may be a future child. Still listen to what the dream is telling you as you need to be guided in many ways to conceive/raise them. The dream, even if past life, is coming to you for a reason and they are presenting themselves individually for a reason. You have to be open and listen to what that is.

I also wanted to answer this: also- ive been told by various people i have a "gift" and i need to be at peace with myself in order to develop this- can someone explain what this means I think when you are battling yourself and your own thoughts it is hard to receive things clearly. You mind has to be decently clutter-free and the tornado gone. Your mind has to be at peace so you can distinguish what is you and what is your guide. What your wishes are from the message. When you are guided it comes from so many different sources and ways that you need to be able to see them but if you are expending unnecessary mental energy (gossip, toxic relationships, extortive friendships, etc) it clouds everything. You have to work on your mind and minimizing your life to grow your gift. It can happen at the same time as it is always a lifetime journey.
