Default classroom experience
Since a few members are back in class, I thought I would share this experience.

I absolutely love my English Comp. Professor. He is older, very enthusiastic, and very animated. He exudes the kind of energy that states loud and clear “Yes, I want all of you to succeed.” So I feel fortunate to be in his class.

The first week in class, he was explaining something through an analogy and I was thinking “he should use sports, such as football for an example.” Sure enough, in his next sentence he uses football as an example. The same thing happened the following week. I was thinking of something and he verbalized what I was thinking. Last week, we were working on essays and he pointed out a sentence that was structurally incorrect. I was thinking “but it could be correct if you added a colon and another word to the sentence.” Before I could put my hand up to mention this, he stated exactly what I was thinking.

Perhaps there just might be a little bit of mental telepathy going on, or maybe it is just a mutual love for the English language and the beauty that can be created through the written word. What ever it is, I am amazed by it and wonder if I have also stated out loud exactly what he was thinking.

I am curious if anyone else has had a similar experience.

This happens with hubby and I all the time. I never know whether I'm reading his mind or he's reading mine.

Hi Mecca, I know exactly what you are saying. Perhaps what you say is so.

desphynx, if you have been married for a good length of time, I think it is more like a mind meld. Hubby & I have been together for over 30 years. The term "know him like a book" has significant meaning...lol

You two are definently on the same wavelength. Thus your fondness for him as well. As you see things in the same reality. Its a very big advantage when you are like that with a teacher, it helps you learn and you pay more attention.

Hope you do well in class

The excact same thing used to happen to me an annoying amount of times, so when i got the internet i decided to do some research on it to see if there was anyone else out there that it happened to.
Through my research i sent an e-mail to a psychology profesor who was interested in the paranormal, he gave me a fairly believable explanation of how it happens.........well, it's all to do with atmospheres, you know when you walk into a room when two people have just had an arguement and you can feel the atmosphere, well you can also create them without realising it when your emotions are a bit haywire, and if someone else in the room is feeling the same way then the two atmospheres connect and so do the wavelengths that your brain uses............it's something like that anyway, after reading it back it sounds a bit gobbledy-gook, but i'm sure you get the idea.

He lifts your energy up to his and puts you on the same wavelength as himself. Its amazing though with his vitality that he must be a strong psychic himself whether he knows it or not which is why you are able to communicate your thoughts to him and he is able to pick it up so easily.

I do this all the time with some one speaking on the tv or any one who puts a pause in between their words, I can tell what they are going to talk about next. My mom used to be a waitress and she would know what the customers wanted before they even ordered. So, it very well could be telepathy going on, I wouldn't be surprised.

stuff like that has happened to me a few times, sometimes i swear that i just heard their thoughts loud and clear in my own head. After i would get the thought they would verbalize something very much along the lines on what i picked up.

Another time was with my cat but it was more of a sense, i was making something in the kitchen and i got a high pitch sound in my right ear. i instinctively went to door to open the it for my cat. It was 5 seconds after that, that i realized what had happened hah.. She must have sent me some kind of sense telepathically or something.

Same wave length, like the others said
