A cold reading? Perhaps I'm a bit tired but can you explain what you mean by this. Thank you. But my thought is, why does everything have to be bad news ??? |

Without going into a long discussion I'd say nothing should be ALL bad at all. If the reader is an accurate reader and if something not so nice comes up for the sitter then they should be guided to give you some options to help change your current situation into a positive one.
If the reader brings up negative things after another but doesn't bring up a positive approach do not continue seeing them. In my opinion they are only saying these things to bring you back to them and feeding on your money. No reader should focus on the negative but should help bring out the positive aspects. A cold reading I guess the question is can someone read you by just gazing upon you. Yes, they can to a certain degree....at least in my opinion. If they are a psychic with skills they will be able to give you information that will so to speak hit a nerve. A thing that no way can someone know this kind of information. If you know in your heart that they couldn't just guess this information I'm sure you'd realize right away they are for real. Meanwhile you will have those who will say things that don't strike the nerve or are just common knowledge. Be weary about those. If they can't make a deep connection somehow by a name or something deep then be careful. You will know in your heart if it connects to you or not. Those who practice are simply practicing and not asking for money I find in no way wrong. It's simply just being ohnest telling you what they see and getting feedback. Feedback is important but if your paying for it......be careful not to give away tooo much during your session. Ask to have some extra time to touch on things that were said. Practice is important Not sure if this helps or not. Love and blessings |

If they fish for information they are usually cold reading.
I sense a Harry, is it is a Harry, or Harold, or is it Harrison, something like that? Let them tell you, don't tell them. Let them know how they did when they are done. Don't pay money unless you can have a sample first, at least I would not. |

I had a reading that was very scary for me. She told me that my guides where screaming at her...warning, warning! She also told me that they where very worried about me and that something bad was going to happen in 6 month and it had to do with a man's expectations and a lie (she did say that it was no set in stone) that was reputation based and delays would cost me everything!!! And this "man" would advise me differently. She never told me if it was work or relationship related....but of course time was up no more info!!!! If I ever get good enough to do readings for people...I vow to never leave anyone high and dry...isn't our gifts there to help and advise others?

I have to say that I have yet to hear that our guides scream anything. That, in itself, is a warning signal to beware of the reader herself. That's my opinion anyways. lol |
