Dear Anita,
This is one kind of the Jinn called in Arabic language "Algathoom" and in English a near meaning called "Incubus or bad spirit" but I don't know whether it means same in arabic or not but he is in general one kind of Demon. He holds your entire body so you can't move any of your body parts except your eye. Also he will make your breathing very slow and hard to breath. He will stay for a minutes then it goes. He comes in certain time normally at night, sometimes at the time of sunset as they have more power at night than in the day. Sometimes he makes your room mess by changing the location of things. The problem is that even if you see your Mum or Father and you want to call him, you wont be able even you thought that you are calling them. He or She wouldn't be able to here you.

When I was a little girl i would awke from sleep and the whole room would be spinning. I would be so scared that it would be hard for me to scream out to m y mother but some how she would hear my faint cries and seem to hold my arms down on the bed as if to stop the spinning . Can any one explain this?

Anita, I used to have the same when I was a child. It was more like being delirious, I was feeling half awake, half asleep. I was feeling that my mum was there in the room with me and I was wanting her to wake me up as the state I was in was very torturing for me. I thought I was shouting for her to wake me up when actuallly in reallity, she told me, that I was hardly making any noise. I was also feeling like I was somehow trapped in some kind of shapes like triangles, maccaroni (i know this one is weird), circles, etc, or something like mandalas which I couldn't get out of. It was very weird. I used to get that when I was having temperature or a flu, etc.
