I just had someone pop up on my instant message asking me if I was psychic. Has anyone else encountered this. I usually don't like to give info out and just said I'm sorry and who are you. I wasn't sure what to do lol.

Any opinions or guidance on something like this?

That depends on how comfortable with yourself. I would think that if you said "Aren't we all psychic? Now ...I'm guessing your name is Sarah? No? Andy? No ...I'll get to it eventually...how much time did you say you have?" lol I'm kinda kidding...but I have come across something like that ...and I usually say that I do believe that we all are to some degree and ask what they thought and why they were asking. Each scenario is different. I have met people who thought what I believed in was the devil's work...to which my reply was "To each their own beliefs" and smile sweetly looking them straight in the eye. But I'm veering off here, which is the norm for me...sorry lol. I say ...just use your instincts and just see how comfortable you are with what you are saying.

I know I should have handled this better, but first time and really out of the blue caught me off gaurd lol. I'll need to remember to expect the unexpected from now on and feel out what they want.
