I really have to thank Virgolight for giving me a really great nudge, or I would not have searched and found this site. I think this is a partial clue to my dream.

This is the part that caught my attention

MESSAGES FROM THE ARCTURIANS
The Arcturians are encouraging us to realize that our planet is a living, sentient being that is very much in need of our spiritual attention. The Arcturians are advising us to come together in ceremony to send healing energy into the heart of the planet. This concept is particularly interesting to me because I had been exploring this concept before I encountered the Arcturians in Sedona. (Or have I been in contact with them for all along?).

Channeled, by Barbara Sanne, Sedona, 1992: "We are the Arcturians, we are here to answer our Father's call for assistance. All here at this time are working on his plan to bring Earth back to the awareness of her true calling. Earth was intended to be a way-station for beings to learn many different lessons. Free will was always the most important part of life on Earth. However, because of free will, the beings of Earth became entangled with their own illusions and gradually lost their true reason for being incarnated.

Many eons have passed and Mother Earth is now in danger of being destroyed. Our Father has decreed that this will not happen. His plan has been put into operation. Many are here from all over the Universe and beyond to follow his plan to bring the Light and Love back into the Earth and advance Earth into the fourth dimension where she is to move. Our Father will not allow his plan to fail. This is a most important way-station and he will not allow any failure.

Many beings have chosen to incarnate in Human form to act out their role in his plan. When awakened, each will know waht shall be done. All are to be transformers for the Light and Love being sent by the many who are assisting from above. This Light and Love is being sent from out Father/God of the Great Central Sun. We here above you are relaying this Light and Love into your atmosphere for all our incarnated workers to transmit through themselves into the center of the Earth. As all awaken and knowingly begin their work, others in Human form will also awaken and begin their journey back to the awareness of God. All are to awaken. All will have the choice of advancing with Earth into the fourth dimension or remaining third-dimensional.

All souls who remain third dimensional will be removed and placed upon other worlds that have the same third-dimensional vibrations with which they are still resonating. This will be the choice of the individual soul and all choices will be honored. None will remain on this Earth in the third dimension. This is the plan of our Father.

Earth will be fourth-dimensional and all inhabitants will evolve themselves into fourth density. Know that this plan will not be allowed to fail. All are to awaken and all will choose. Those choosing to allow the Love and Light to assist them in moving into fourth density will also be assisting Earth in her advancement. Many are now in their awakening and much has been accomplished. More and more Light is being anchored within the Earth. The changes have started and soon all will be able to see the Earth in her new growth.

Know of what we speak. The veil has been lifted and all are to remember. When you follow your soul's memories, you will find the God we speak of within your soul. You have always been with God and are to now awaken and return to your true reasoning for incarnating. Allow these memories and follow your desires. The reason for our messages is to guide you into your awareness and then you will be able to remember your mission. It is time for you to remember your mission and assist Mother Earth and all Earth inhabitants. All will have their choice of moving their physical body into fourth density where they will always have the awareness of their oneness with all creation.

Gosh, I don't where to start. It all began with a dream about 12 years ago. Since this is not a request for a dream interpretation, I didn't know quite where to place this. If this posting area isn't the right place ...I apologize.

Ok...I had this dream when I was still living in Thailand. The weirdest thing about the dream was it was all in black and white. My dreams are usually in color. In my dream, I was part of a group....there were many groups around the world. There were 4 of us in my group. I was shown spots where all the other groups were dealing with but no details, as it had nothing to do with the "mission" I was handed. I wasn't even able to recall any faces within my group....as that wasn't relevant. Everyone in my group had a different job and ability. Our purpose was open a bridge to an island. One person was to build the bridge, one was to stabilize it, one was to open it and the other was a communicator. My role was to open it. However, I couldn't act alone. I had to wait for the bridge to be built and then stabilized before I could open it ...I had to wait for the communicator to telepathically get his codes to feed back to me before I could do my "job". Then I used my thought waves with those codes to open the bridge. It was a bridge of light meant to anchor the earth. Towards the end of my dreams, I was still wondering how come I couldn't see anything in color, when I found myself out in the galaxies looking down at earth and hearing voices telepathically explaining to me that the reason for this was so that I could know that this was my "mission". If my dreams had been in color...I would have dismissed it as another dream...interesting, yet just another dream. I accepted this explanation and woke up wondering what the heck was that? lol
I knew that where I was at the time, Thailand, wasn't the place of my dreams and I pretty much pushed that dream to the back of my mind. I thought..."Well, there goes my mission!" and laughed it off.
Fast forward ...12 years later...to the present date...in Alaska, I am in the midst of reading 'Same Soul, Many Bodies' by Brian L. Weiss, M.D. Late last night while I was settling down to sleep, I was inspired by the reading and thinking of my own past regressions, when I decided to meditate a bit before sleep. Instead, I found myself compelled to draw around me a tube of light. It came from far above me and went down way below me, into Mother Earth. I was encased within this light. I felt like I was helping to anchor stability that was needed in this part of the world into Mother Earth. It is at the time she needed it, and the place where I am at is where my mission is. It made me remember the dream I had stacked away back in my memories...and I now realise that this place, where I am currently living...actually looks very much like the dream I had 12 years ago! I have been here for over 5 years now ...but never even thought about that dream till now. I still don't know who or what my "group" looks like or where they are...but then again...I have been told that it isn't relevant, so I might never really know them....but curiosity is always a strong element..lol.
I know that there are other groups out there. I was just wondering....are you one of them? It is just an interesting thought. Has anyone ever had dreams or felt compelled to anchor the light out of a strong feeling that they were meant to? Or anyone with a similar sense of "mission" ?

It sounds like you were given a fairly accurate picture of your life's mission with that dream.

Years ago I had a similar 'group' dream. I was with a group of people, walking, and we crossed a busy highway to enter a forested valley on the other side of the road. As we passed through the trees and came into the valley I could see that there were massive buildings interspersed amongst the valley, on the sides of the hills. The group split up into individuals and pairs. I went alone to a large, institutional-like building, near the valley floor.

I was greeted at the front door by a guide who led me through the building on a tour. He showed me where the students studied, where they slept, where they spent time in recreational activities.

The tour ended in the basement, more like a library, really. There were old books on shelves and artifacts throughout the room. I was attracted to a beautiful hand-carved wooden lizard, on top of a low china cabinet. I picked it up, it was heavy and I turned it over to see if the artist had signed the bottom.

I commented to the guide on how beautiful and intricate the work was. He was very casual as he remarked, 'I guess it's not bad....'
I asked him, 'Could YOu do any better?' He just smiled and escorted me to the exit, where I re-joined the group I had arrived with and we left the valley, through the forest and across the highway.

Looking back, after crossing the highway, I saw an incredibly blue/turquoise sky with a magnificent rainbow filling it.

These kind of dreams, (group dreams) make me think that we are being reminded of our human experience being a kind of 'schooling' process.

Thank you LightLizard for your response. I think that what you write is well thought out first ...and comes from a deep well of wisdom. And for this I appreciate what you share.
I still don't think I have the codes yet...or if I do ...then they are in a way that it is totally bypassing my conscious mind. I guess that I will find out with time.

Reading your post on your dream...makes me want to ask you (tongue in cheek) ...so have you carved that beautiful lizard yet?

carving has been an on-and-off pastime of mine since i was a kid, really.
i don't have all of the tools i'll need yet, but i do have some wood that i'm aging.
