Default Hawks
I have read that a hawk is a messanger.....

A few days ago an "issue" came up. while discussing and talking about the issue, I and two others walked out onto the deck and immediately noticed a very big hawk gliding almost directly overhead.....

I know I am being vague, but my focus is the meaning of a hawk showing up. I have searched the web and found that they are messangers but that is all....I did get a sense of awe as he/she was beautiful to watch and there was a second one quite a bit further in the background..

There are hawks in this area so it is not unusual to see one but having one flying/gliding so low just at that particular moment captured our attention..

Here's what I found from a site I used to frequent a long time ago.

Hawk- Clear-Sightedness, Being Observant, Far-Memory, Messages from Spirit, Guardianship, Recalling Past Lives, Courage, Wisdom, Illumination, Seeing the Larger Picture, Creativity, Truth, Experience, Wise Use of Opportunities, Overcoming Problems, Nobility, Recollection, Cleansing, Visionary Power, Defense, New Life, Primal Life Force, Fulfillment, Messenger

Hope this helps somehow!

For a while I had a hawk show up when I was feeling low. It showed up in the middle of town in some places.
Definaetly a messanger of good things!

Hi witch22, thanks for your reply. It does help as I think the messeage that was brought is within the list you posted...quite comforting so a big thank you.

Thanks Oom, just watching them is an uplifting experience...Hawks are making a big come back in my area...we rarely saw them when I was growing up and now you can see them gliding on the updrafts at least once a week or more....a nice testament to all the people who work hard to preserve nature...
