I've always been aware that I'm gifted & that it comes down from my Mum's family. I have in the past been in circle at the Spiritualist church but after a while I left as I felt that at that particular time there were some people there that weren't completely true & there was some envy. I then met my soon to be ex-husband & never returned.

A couple of years ago I was made very aware of my gift of mediumship with information that had to be passed to a good friend. Around that time I was also very aware of one of my guides who I had some good chats with! I then took a step back as even though I was protecting myself, some days I couldn't hear clearly & had to quite forcefully ask spirits to get in a queue, their time would come. Even though I stepped back I was always aware that I could re-open the door at any time.

Fast forward to now, there are many life changes to come I know but I've gone from being scared to a sense of exciting wonderment! Anyway, about 6 years ago I had a reading with an excellent Psychic, recently she came up in several conversations in just a few days so I decided to contact her again, thinking I would have to wait I was suprised when she could fit me in 2 days later.

I arrived at Linda's beautiful home, seems someone else had got their appointment wrong but I said they could go before me & I would wait, Linda told me that was because my spirit time was later. I also discovered on the radio going home that had I gone in on time, I'd have hit the thick of a major accident on my way home but as it was I managed to find a back way.

One of the things that Linda brought up again was my abilities & that they were now coming to the fore, she could see me surrounded by mediums & that this time I would go with it as my time has come. Linda told me lots of other things but they're not for this thread.

At 2am Sunday morning, I'd just turned off my lamp & was thinking I should sleep when I was hit by the most amazing lightning bolt ~ if you imagine a crystal type shooting star it may help picture what I saw, it hit me with such force in the 3rd eye it physically made me jump! I lay shock still for a moment before getting a sense of calming & trying to drift into sleep. I did get some but not without tossing & turning.

I emailed Linda to ask her about this ~ not something I would normally do, before receiving the answer from her that "it's just one of those things that no one can explain to you" I tried to get some more answers myself. I wonder if it could be a real opening? I will honestly say, I wasn't asleep & it wasn't a dream. I have since drawn my interpretation of it with some notes in a book.

I suppose what I'm wondering is how many others have had this? I can't believe that it's unique! I do have the most amazing feeling over me at the moment, I feel there's things I need to do & some places to visit. I don't have complete clarity yet, things are still a little cloudy but I just know that won't be for long.

Something else I discovered in my research was about the attraction to the colours of pink & purples ~ wow have I been attracted very strongly to these colours recently, especially the pink! (I currently have bids on 3 pink items of clothing on ebay lol!!)

Also, in the past I've heard someone walking around my house, my ex has too, I thought maybe the previous owner but I don't think so? The land was agricultural before this house was built. I now wonder if it's spirit trying to get my attention?

Anyway, sorry that this has been so long, I'm not sure what or if I'm expecting anything but I really would like to know about the 3rd eye lightning, I should add that it also feels very different in that area now. I have had my 3rd eye open before but this feels so very different.
