Default you are not late until you are late
Does anyone feel that their own personal time clock moves faster than others. The best way I can explain it is by this example.

It will take me 25 minutes to get to a specific place and it does not matter how fast I drive or that I hit all green trafic lights. but it only takes my husband or 15-20 minutes to get there and he will be driving with the same kind of traffic, same lights, same stop signs. My husband even drives slower than I do. Is there such a thing as a personal time clock where the passage of time differs slightly?

twice last week I was late getting out of the house for work. Getting to work normally takes 40 minutes. the best time was 35 minutes. Anyways, these two days I started for work ten minutes later than normal. It seemed that I was hitting the traffic lights on red which would slow me down even more.
but what I did on both those days instead of getting anxious or worried, I just started thinking I am not late until I am late....I am not late until I am late meaning the time was not yet 8:00 so therefore I was not yet late....

to my surprise, I was on time both days.

Any thoughts?
