Hello Everyone!
I am a new member & I would like to share my most recent experience with all of you. I not only had a out of body experience but I woke up as my spirit was getting back into my body! Believe me this was a totally unexpected shock & I am still really amazed by the whole thing. I was asleep laying on my side as I usaully sleep in the fetal position. I was awakened by a hard jerk on my shoulder, hard enough to turn me over onto my back. I immediatly opened my eye's....What I saw stradled above me was just inches from my face. I was looking into the face of a ight white glowing form.The best way I can discribe this is to ask you if you had ever seen the movie by Stephen Spielburg called "Cacoon"? In that movie the aliens shed the human body and floated out as these white glowing figures. Well, whoever created that effect must have seen their spirit because thats exacally what I saw and that movie had it perfect in telling you what I seen. I remember staring into the ight glow of what would be it's face. I could barely see the side of a cheek and a partial mouth & nose but it was very faint because of the ightness of its glow. I looked at it for a moment wondering in my mind "who is this" and then in an instant my body jumped & it was gone. I believe that's the point it re-entered my physical body. I know this sounds strange but this was confirmed when my 70 yr.old mother told me she seen 2 of me on her way to the restroom it was 1:30am and she glanced into my room.She seen I was asleep & she also saw me getting ready to climb in my own body. Now, let me tell you my mother does not believe in psychic stuff because it scares her & she will not lie. This effected her so badly, I now sleep with my bedroom door closed as it was her request. I know I seen my own spirit in it's natural form. I don't believe this was ever suppose to happen but it did & not only did I see it but I felt it as well since out of instinct I had put my hand up to stop it from comming any closer to my face & I can tell you it felt solid just as if it was a human body.I swear by the grace of God this is the total truth & it did happen to me. I have had many OBE's, like i'd be sleeping in one position and then I feel a jerk and instantly change my position (without me ya know willingly changing it...its more like my spirit climbed back into me but in the wrong position lol). I know what you mean by the ightness, usually if one is to induce OBE's, we talk about the silver cord that connects the body and the spirit. But if the OBE isn't induced usually one doesn't see the cord joining the two. But nevertheless, I understand what you mean. I've never had an OBE that others have seen, it'd have freaked my mom out! Ive never had an OBE, tried many times but neer was successful. However, I do sometimes feel a jerk or something that makes me wake up suddenly. Dunno if this has anything to do with OBE's

yeah I am the same as Chris....never remember having an OBE but have woken with a jerk for no reason....but then that comes from someone that doesn't even remember dreaming lol

I really don't know why this OBE was so strange. It was a first for me. I know i'll never forget it and neither will my mom! The strangest part is since that happened my visions are now coming more frequently & very clear. I even started receiving actual names of people. I don't know why all this is going on now but I am just going to go with the flow & see what developes. [-o<

I have been trying to AP aka OBE for the last two years. The one time I was able to get out I got scared so I got pulled right back in. I haven't tried it for sometime now. Yeah. I have never heard of anyone geting more visions more frequently but maybe it is because you are more intuned with ur ablities. That is just a guess. Good Luck with that Gifted!

Yeah, good luck for sure. It sounds like you have a real gift,
Gifted...lol...seriously, if you nurture that talent you could really
get somewhere with it. Personally, I've never got further than the
"jumping out of my skin" when drifting off to sleep. I do think our
souls travel when we dream though. Make sure you keep us updated on any
developments, and sorry I don't have any advice or experience relevant

Astral Projection can be scary and well, I mean one of the main reasons I cant succeed with it is cuz I get overexcited with inducing it and thus, the body cant relax properly and remains tense as I get into my sleep even though I've got everything else working..someday..
