My question is, can one body carry two spirits. ( Twin Spirit)

I've heard about this theory and while I don't think it's impossible for a spirit to live two lives at once- if there are lessons to be learned on the other side before throwing themselves completely into life, I don't know if it's possible for two souls to inhabit one body. I would think the stress of it all might result in manic behavior or even Multiple Personality disorder...

Maybe that's what happens?

I think you are asking about 2 souls in one body. I don't believe in it no.

I do believe in the way of channelling that you can invite a spirit to speak through your body, but not take up a residence in such.
