Woohoo!

At my current residence, I sleep with the lights on. I can sleep without the lights on at various places, such as my mom's house...although come to think of it, I always have a nightlight on...

I probably can do without but haven't tried it yet...hopefully, I'll get over the hurdle like u!

Default Reached a milestone.
brase yourself it's a funny one lol.

For 15 yrs at least I always left a light on when i slept. even with my dad in the house when i was younger and even with my partner sleeping right next to me at night. well, after 15 long years i can finally sleep without the light on. LOL. and what a great nights sleep I'm having.

definately has to do with the realistaion that my guides are around. I'm loving the feeling of trusting that they look after me & just had to share my funny milestone. LOL.

Harmony...I am not laughing because I totally understand...it is huge when you can finally turn the light or tv off for the first time. I now love sleeping in the dark..

Congratulations on this huge accomplishment!

It is wonderful to feel protected.

actually my fiance' says that too. He said when he was younger he would try to be the first asleep because he hated being the last one awake. The energy was alive and he didn't like it

Being able to sleep without a light on is awesome because I just watched a show by Dr. Oz (a big guru on health in the US) and he said that when a light is on, our pineal gland (that produces the sleep hormone seratonin) doesn't activate. It only produces this hormone when it's dark, thus giving us a better and more restful sleep

Absolutely! I can feel the second that my son falls asleep in the lounge cos then this earry feeling comes about & I'm not alone LOl. it's probably just guides and family or maybe others, who knows LOl. but when i feel it I'm like, stuff this I'm outta here LOL.

The Dr Oz things makes a lot of sense. you certainly don't sleep well with a light on.

Hooray Harmony!

I love to have complete darkness when I sleep and whine and complain if there is even a sliver of light from under a door!

I DO understand that this can be the opposite for others, of course, and you probably had many reasons for feeling comforted by having light always.

I guess now you feel/know that you alwyas do have light...the light of Spirit that shines from within and yes, your guides are and always will be with you too.

Plus, your physiology is going to really enjoy the chance to produce the melatonin that helps you to get the real restful sleep you need to replenish1

CONGRATULATIONS!
& Blessings,
eyesee

Well done!

I used to have the same problem up until a few years ago. Now I've even got myself a blackout blind to make my bedroom completely dark and I love it! Only problem is I have trouble waking in the morning now as my room is so perfectly dark lol
