Hope this is the right place to put this.

Tomorrow afternoon I will be taking part in my first circle and am really looking forward to it. It is only family members and we all range in our abilities.

Personally I have had experiences, I have seen spirits and hear voices very rarely. But am very new on my path to developing this and am a complete beginner.

I was thinking of taking along some minutes from my Grandparents circle from back in the 50's and also two of the collection of drawings I have of my Grandparents spirit guides drawn by Coral Polge.

I thought this may help them make a connection, I also wanted to share these things with my cousins as they haven't seen them yet.

Do you think it may help my Grandparents make contact? Also, I wondered if you had any other advise for me.

Well, we had the meeting at my cousins and actually also my Grandfathers family home.

It was really nice. We did a lovely meditation which I found amazingly relaxing.

I was a bit surprised that I got a really intense and almost oppressive headache after a few minutes. It lasted the entire meeting and didn't begin to clear until I went outside, still slightly here now.

My Nan came through which was lovely. She passed on a message about my son. Another relative, I never met them, also passed on a message about my son, saying she feels he may be able to be quite a powerful medium should he eventually choose to go down that route. My son has had a few experiences and did used to talk to my Nan, whom he was very close to but he doesn't seem too comfortable with it at the moment, only nine so not really surprising.

I took two of my drawings by Coral Polge. I was hoping for one of my Granddads spirit guides to come through but sadly he didn't.

Anyway, thought I would share how my afternoon was with you all, all in all I am happy with how it went and am looking forward to the next time we all meetup.

Any comments, suggestions would be much appreciated. Especially with regards to the headache and if others also experience this too.

Wow, sounds like an amazing time, Bev79, thankyou for sharing this with us.

With regards to headaches, I have never experienced them after meditations or even after meetings with spirit.
I have, though, experienced a severe draining of energy which was put down to something similar to giving blood.......just gave a bit too much away during a session to heal someone.
May be close to the same thing, just affected us in different ways....you with headache, me with body ache. Must admit though, didn't really do the full protection thing to keep myself safe.

And I can't help but notice that there was someone rubbing the back of your neck? may have known the headache was coming........

That is really interesting you should say that. My cousin said he could see a red around my neck and shoulders and felt I was having trouble with that area and I was. I carry stress around those areas. He gave me something to put on there to help ease it.

All in all it was a very positive experience and I'm looking forward to our next meeting.
