I have been performing Reiki for a couple of years and I absolutely love energy healing! Now I have given many and received many sessions, and lately I have been giving Reiki in exchange for swaps or allow my friends to pay me in "practice and experience," I basically take payment in the form of them allowing me to practice on them. However I was recently requested to please perform a Reiki session on a nice woman I have swaped with before and she wants to know how much I will charge so she can bring cash to the session.

I was surprised and haven't decided what to reply. Now I want to open up my own practice, but still feel a bit nervous about taking the step to actually charge for my services. I suppose a part of me is still self-conscious and my ego keeps questioning the true extent of my ability. Something which I try not to doubt at all since it is the energy that comes THROUGH me not from Me.

If anyone has any advice or experience in taking the next step or if they have any insight for me It would be very welcome, Thank you!

This is your challange
There is no real answer for you
Its all down to you and your beliefs
Starting a business if a difficult thing
One person does not make a business
You need a steady stream of people
You also need replacements when some move on
Insurances for your treatment area
Insurances for you treating people
If you are doing it from home you need to tell your mortagage provider
And the lists go on and on

How far you go in to it all is your's to decied

I have a friend who finds it hard to charge . So, she just takes donations or gives psychic development classes for a good prices . IWhen I got a divorced from my ex . I was going through depression . My firnd did reiki on me . She charged me $ 50 & if I kept going to her she lowered to 30 . It just depends I guess from person to person what feels right to them . Good luck in whatever you decide to do
