From what I have read from Sylvia Browne; Depression is a way for us to deal with deep brooding emotions we cannot understand or trully go through. It allows our body to have an outlet of a lot of scars and emotions that need to be ''cried'' out. The coming out with your believes and opinions is a sure sign that God and your guides are stepping in and saying ''Hey we are here and we wish to be apart of your life''. What Jobson says makes a lot of sense. And again the quote from the bible towards the prophet Jeremiah ''Fear not the faces you see for I am with you'' comes to mind. By staying true to yourself, not only are you going to please God you are also going to show others how strong you trully are. some people don't understand that and shy away while others will see that as an attraction and keep you on your tracks.
Stay true and down to Earth!! Excellent progress. God Bless Love and Life Amen |

The last 6-12 months seems like I am going through some life crisis or Im having a personality overhaul or something.
I have suffered from depression for the last 3 and a half years and have always kept myself to myself with it. I have always been a placid person and a people pleaser. So I have gone along with the majority. If other people are happy Im happy etc. Well that is what I thought until I started realising that what others wanted was not making me happy. I then started to speak out. And now its wrecked my friendships and aquaintaces with people. Its happened a lot recently and is really getting me down. Its like people are fine with me as long as I go along with stuff. As soon as I say Im unhappy a war ensues. Im starting to question if I should just keep my mouth shut for a peaceful life. I could understand if I was nasty. But I am just asserting my opinion over stuff on certain things and then the world and his dog lash out at me ![]() |

Hey sweetheart. I too have suffered from depression, i know what u going through. Honestly, this sounds harsh, but i too have come to a situation similar 2 urs a few time. I believe that those who care 4 u wouldnt treat u badly 4 disagreeing and would respect ur choice. Maybe u ought to use this as a chance 2 c who ur real friends are. I know what its like to lose friends and feel alone, but the world isnt full of ppl like this. Often ppl we dismis at first are the best friends u can have. Be strong darling, the lord puts us through only what she knows we can get through!

Lilantlady,
By speaking out your doing what is needed to be done. People come into our lives as opportunity for change, most are transient, meaning there, there until we get our lesson. If you really evaluate your life, you'll see, you weren't in-fact happy before you took action, for this inaction is what brought about your depression. The old whats in it for me, where you give away your power to please others then you become depressed. You have made the right decision for yourself and in the end that's what matters. I wish you well, and keep on speaking up. |
