Default Herb Garden layout
Dear friends,

I have the opportunity to create a herb garden.

I have no idea where to start, but I know this is for me and part of my growth.

If you have any advice about lay out, and symbolic designs etc - I'd be VERY happy to hear from you - thank you

How fun! Is this for you or for someone else?

I wish I had something to offer you . . . but I have only ever grown a few herbs at a time -- in pots -- never a whole herb garden. As you get going show us pictures and share how it is progressing!

Sounds fun and exciting. I grow a vegetable garden and I always mix it up but haven't done the herb garden. Keep us updated as it sounds fun....at least for me

I have noticed that one year I planted green beans in a row going from west to east and they didn't grow..(not sure if it makes a difference)..this year I planted North to South and have more than an abundance. Have fun and experiment and the best thing is when you do have that abundance I love to share and make a feast

Love and blessings

Lovely -

when you do have that abundance I love to share and make a feast What beautiful words.

The area is going to be cleared of these tall Mediterranean pines that have to come down because the town hall sent a warning that they are breaking and crashing onto houses.

Then I will take a photo of the area - and I am thinking how it could look - what I'd like in it - I'd love to be able to make a beautiful smudge stick. I'd love to be able to have healing herbs in there - and a most beautiful smelling place with t bench to sit.

Its all a bit of a dream - but - perhaps here, it might be a reality.

thanks Patheya for re working and old post and bringing it new life.

I have actually notepadded it so I can clean it up later.

also i love a herb garden
one day i too hope to have one out my back door.

a small kitchen window sill type will work until you can make a large one.
just do small individual pots in the windowwith one plant in each for cooking and aroma purposes

make sure to bless them and place a crystal in each pot...

Hey, Thank you Sophia!

I'm going to start to plan how I want it to look like and be very sensible and slowly work towards it.

Anyone have any ideas about the layout design. Something simple but symbolic?

what holds the most symbolic energy for you..

is it a cross or a circle> maybe

the infinity symbol....never ending

or a simple diamond pattern which would or could be symbolic of your many facets

Nice questions.

I think the cross - I like the energies moving in all directions - up, down, left and right.

Something to think about.
