And today I contacted the local HUD Authorities. They let me know I was on the inactive list because of a conflict with my photo ID copy that I faxed over. But I don't need income (although I told them I figure I'd get my SSI by the end of summer) but anyway if I give them a good copy of my ID, I can get on the "active list" but it can take 6-12 months. I really hope it won't be long until I can get my life together and finally be on my own.

Right now as you know I had to apply for SSI as of 2008 (early) when I was extremely desperate and I'm still fighting. I want to thank you all who participated in a reading to help me figure out if and when I'll get it.
On Yahoo Answers in their "People with Disabilities" subforum, I am getting abused and taunted by people who used to support me. They are claiming I'm not severe enough and that I'm basically a fraud and so is my lawyer. I have faith that'll I'll get the help I need and my lawyer is good but it really hurts me that these people are being so cruel. A lot of these people claim to have or know someone who's disabled and based on what I say (which they misuse and misunderstand my words a lot) they feel they are worse off and more deserving than me. I know I'm not a fraud and I've confided in them for a couple of years of how bad the job situation has been for me and they just get mad and cruel and say you can get a job online or at craigslist, etc. Trust me I've tried a lot of online stuff and planned to move away but a lot of the online stuff are scams and I can't move away safely without an income. I feel I have more of a support group and family here, thank you. ![]() |

You really have to stop worrying what other people think.
If you get the support, then the most professional people actually think you DO need it. And that matters a lot more then some people on the net. If you don't get the support, then maybe that gives you another answer. Maybe you need to get off that whole idea of support and try your hardest to get a job. Every event can teach us something. |
