I like to do a rhyme or a little song. Taught my son this for his homework and helped as well. Try and picture something in your brain also. For instance remembering a body part or muscle then touch it every time you say it. Not sure on the incense or anything else. Someone who knows stones better might be able to help Good luck and believe in yourself.

Love and blessings

I get a bit distracted if there are incense during study time, the smoke either makes me so relaxed that I get sleepy or it irritates me that it makes the room stuffy.

I am not sure about incenses either but I know that the crystal lapis lasulli assists in studying and boosts memory. Also, massage your head or Reiki it! The warmer the brain the better its ability to memorise! I am a student too and very often struggle to keep up the focus. I am very inquisitive and studious but my problem is concentation and also become tired and sleepy when I read continuously. But I have a blood circulation problem, so that makes me struggle sometimes. But I am not giving up. Also, there is a lot of info out there on brain food, so have a look at this too.

Love and light

Oh, I have also read somewhere that insense sticks like Nag Champa, etc. help concentration, so give that a go.
Also, try the Pukka clarity tea. Here is some info http://www.ethicalsuperstore.com/pro...tea-x-20-bags/

I buy from time to time Ginko Biloba drops ( there are capsules as well) and take them when I have exams. There are Ginko teas too.

Hi Cinnamonsage
The best technique i can think of is study before you go to bed,and to try and make some like study story type thing out of something to remember it like for the planets i remember them by,saying my very envious mother jumped straight under nans pants,So that mercury, venus earth mars jupiter, saturn uranus neptune and pluto, and although it sounds stupid it works there also to spell because Big Elephants Can`t Always Use Small Exes.
Hope i`ve been of some help, also try to relax as much as possible, and don`t ger worried or stressed as if you do you`ll forget whatever you study.
Also try and picture what ever you studying, like you would in a story.

All the best

Carl

And don't forget to keep up your brain in shape by playing mind power games- crosswords, sudoku, draughts, scrabbles, etc.etc. Don't use calculator when possible, etc. It interesting because nowadays in western countries there are technologies for everything. People do or figure out things less for themselves and have the gadgets, computers, etc. think for them. Challenge yourselves, do tests and don't forget walk! It pumps up blood in your brain.

Very wise words also Night Fairy just reminded me, don`t spend to long on the pc, it just kills ya braincels, and i know that from experience. Also walking through a woodland when it`s frosty and cold does wonders for your brain,ya eyes and your body.

Wear yellow while taking tests. Put up something yellow when you study ex: yarn, pic, clothes anthing yellow.

Also re write your notes or make songs to remember key points. This is just from my experience with college. It depends on your intelligence type. Do an online test to determine yours. That will help you forever!!

The yellow really works, try it and let me know
