I know that positive and negative energy can rub off on a person and I was just thinking tonight if maybe that's part of my problems these past few weeks. I work at a nursing home which is full of elderly people who are all depressed in one way or another. Many are resigned to the fact that they have been left in the "home" by their families to die so there is bound to be negative energy in the air.
How can someone avoid negative energy like this if it is in the work place? |

That is very very difficult. I used to work in an in-patient adolescent hospital so the energy was pretty bad. Plus it was mis-managed so the employees didn't help much either. It is hard when you sit in it for 40 hours a week but what I try to do is surround myself with a bubble of white light and intent that only 100% white light energy surround me. This worked for me when I was out to eat and someone in the next table had horrible energy. I also pull back my energy so it is closer to my body. That way I am in my little happy bubble. I also remind myself when I am feeling badly that it is the other person's energy and I feel strongly that I refuse to accept their energy and it is their own. I think just cognitively knowing that you are feeling that way because of someone else's energy is very powerful. Then you can just refuse to accept it and protect yourself.

Im going to have to try the bubble of white energy. I think much of my depression and anger is manifesting because I spend so much time in a negative space. Like you, the employees where I work are unhappy with the mis-management so it's pretty much coming from everywhere.
Ive been dabbling in crystals and their powers. I wonder if a gray moonstone would help erase some of the negativity around me? |
