As you all know i`m a spiritualist but me with my mind being curious(as usual), i`ve been thinking.
When the mediums at church give messages like spiritual ones like ones about someone being a medium that sort of message, they say that the spirit says the person has free will, BUT i heard that spirits can see the future, and my question is, how can we have free will if the spirits can see the future, and how can the spirits see the future if we have free will, i mean we can do what we want, so how do they know what`s going to happen?

We do have free will
Spirit can always try to give us a nudge
But that will not always stop us using our free will
Sometimes the medium not only gives out a spirit massage
But sometimes add in a church message to fill there need for mediums
When they blur the edges like that
Sometimes they get what they want
But other times, the person who is getting the message
Also gets messages, and knows the difference
Therefore creating the reverse effect and losing people

Because some of us know the difference between a message from spirit
And a man made message for all the wrong reasons

You mean, can spirit see the ultimate future
I think they can give us a version of our future
But we are random creatures
We have many possible futures
And they can be altered by the random act of another

Some mediums can give you things that cannot be a luck guess
We are not all that open that we give away everything to them..verbally

We have to believe in something
Just throw you dice and make a choice
You are free to do this

Other people cannot provide you with answers
When you are unsure of your real question

This is true, we do have the ability to choose. But if you raise a child from birth, you get to know your child's behaviors, thought's, feelings, ect. Though they have the option to choose, you still know how your child will choose. You have a connection with this child. I feel it's the same with spirit. No psychic is a 100% but many seek the council of psychics for things that they may not see. When your close to the situation, an outside person can see it more logically or hear messages more clearly. Often the messages are shown, so we can change the outcome. Just food for thought.

The guide/individual relationship, as lonelyangel also stated, is very much like a parent/child relationship. Just like a parent can tell that when a child exhibits poor judgment what the outcome will likely be so can the guide. The future changes with every second. The guides view of the future is much more tangible than a parent's assumption but it is a similar mechanism. And just like a child we can disagree and disregard a guides suggestion. Trust me, I've argued with my guides and gone against their suggestions many times. Their response is much more loving than a parent's response would be and they will alter things to accommodate your opposition. And often they will anticipate this opposition and plan accordingly as mine often did

There is a theory that time is not linear as we see it but that it exists all at once. So the past, present, and future are all "now". Our concept of time is very primitive and not at all as those in higher dimensions see it. They laugh (not in a mean way) at how we get caught up in time and schedules and try to hold onto or speed up "time". To them it is like watching a hamster run in a wheel thinking it is actually accomplishing something. So "seeing the future" to them is totally different than what we see it as. And they say, "Yes we can see the future but it is like watching water flow down the river. You cannot watch and pinpoint just one spot as absolute."

Hi Carl, I can only go of my experience which is that when loved ones bring a message as you have described in you initial post, spirits can indeed see the future. However, they can only see around the corner so to speak, they do not have the ability to see the future in the longterm. Therefore, when they say to a person you have the ability to become a psychic or medium, it's the near future which they speak of. Sorry if that sounds a little repetitive.
A person's freewill in this situation comes into play as to whether they decide to take action to go out and develop the said skills or not. Spirit have no control over that.

How can it be a past life and future?

Our lives a like a pack of cards floating one after another in the air
Do we drift through life going from one card to the next?
Or do we flit from one section to another?
Are our dreams picking cards at random and living this random card?
All this depends on your thoughts or beliefs
No two people have the same beliefs
So to take other peoples beliefs and mould them as your own
Is not really the way to go through your life
You need to work out what your life should be and live it
We all take things from life and take them as our own
But we should only take what we believe in and run with them
Only the parts that we know is right for us
