Hey guys, I recently have been going through a tough time in my life, and I would like at least one person that shares deep sorrow. I feel that it would be great for the healing process for all of us, and if anyone's interested, please let me know! Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear that you're going through a hard time.. I don't know how if this would help you but I'd like to try and "share" my sorrow but only if it really helps you and we can learn from each other. Though I don't exactly understand what you mean. It looks like you might be trying to distract yourself from your feelings which is okay sometimes but if you can work through it somehow that might be better. i'm available to talk to, of course, and you don't have to talk about anything too personal but I will support you as much as I can!!

Hey SW,
I really appreciate the fact that you responded to my thread! What I mean by that is someone to learn how to get through life better with, even though we both may have that sorrow. And, in a way, I guess you're right in terms of distracting myself. It's paradoxical actually. I'm distracting myself from feeling the sorrow by focusing on it and its implications, hahah. Thanks! 2008 was a time to clear out my closet so to speak, I decided I was going to focus on the positive. Every morning as soom as I open my eyes I say aloud "Its a beautiful day and everything is going my way", usually it does but if for some reason it doesn't I am in a better frame of mind to cope with it. In August this year I started my own business and things are progressing nicley. I give thanks for all that I have and all that is to come. I can now look at myself and like me for who I am. So instead of focusing on the things that you don't want in life start focusing on the things that you do want and you will see an improvement. "Thoughts become things" |

Thanks for your advice johnlloyd and White Spirit, but perhaps clearing out all the negatives and focusing on the positives with a buddy may help the process run smoother. That was my goal in the first place. Thanks again, though, I appreciate the advice. ![]() |
