I admittedly do not know a lot about spirits, especially the more complex spirits that are not simply ghosts. In all my experiences, I have learned that there's a lot out there I do not understand and perhaps could not understand even if someone told me outright.

With that said...I really cannot understand the things my guide tells me!! He has become very honest about himself and all the interesting details about him, perhaps so I can learn about spirits in general, perhaps because for years I hounded him to know who and what he was.

He's told me that he has lived many lives, and apparently he can change form at will if needed to teach me something (a wolf, for instance), but his usual form is that of his last life, when he lived in England (basically in the UK and France, throughout his life) in the 1800's. He has told me a bit about this life, but...according to him, it is not at all his only life.

He claims he is a very, very, very old spirit. He claims that he went from "Darkness" (chaos, almost) into "Light" throughout the millenia, evolved from a very dark (not necessarily evil) creature to a creature of Light. He claims all kinds of things. He said he doesn't like the word angel when referring to guides like himself, because he is not at all an angel, but "like one in some sense". (It's kind of funny to watch him scoff and pout when I ever think about him being an angel.) He said he is part of a "higher order" of spirits, that he was "sent" to me at some point - sort of a Fate kind of thing, almost, in the way it works. I mean, I could go on forever about this!

Now, I have learned not to doubt my guide. But my goodness, is there really stuff out there like this?!! I have SO many questions based on the answers he has given me about himself!! How in the world do I learn more about all this?? Who in the world would know??

You are very correct and so is he from what my guides tell me as well.

Angels can be guides, but not all guides are Angels. Angels have not ever lived in human form from what they tell me.

I too have a guide, James from the early 1700s in England. He has lived many lives but died early before the war of 1776. He was in the military though but does not like to come to me in his uniform.

EternalNight That is just the tip of the iceberg! There is so much out there that if I were to say some of it you would think I was the ultimate flake.

Try posting some of your questions here. I'm sure someone will be able to answer them. But nothing that he said seems off the mark. I think was he is saying is that he has lived so many lifetimes that he has experienced all experiences and is now a "higher order". His soul is just highly evolved. What a great teacher! It just means that he has tons of life experience and it is true he is not an angel. Angels are entirely different energies and do not spend a lot of time incarnated in physical form. You guide would be like one of us who pretty much finished out their plan and now chooses to be in spirit form to help us lowly humans Actually, writing this I got a flash of info (not related to this at all)...sweet.
