I think that my parents still treat me like a child and not as an adult :s

Although I don't live with them (I live together with my girlfriend), I work and I have my own money...

ofcourse they don't tell me what time I return when I go outside, but they still want to know what are my plans for life and influence my decisions

At least my dad was willing to fill out and sign a reference letter to get me on the HUD housing list. So at least they understand my need now to move out more than ever.

I'm hoping even though I don't really have an income right now I could get an affordable apartment from them.
