The witchcraft act, EVERYONE READ
Since the appeal of the witchcraft act of the 1950s back in April of this year, I have been keeping a close eye on the outcome, it seems now ALL healers, psychics, mediums and therapist now come under consumers law.

I will find the actual paperwork and print it here as EVERYONE working in these or simular lines can now be prosecuted for making false claims in the UK.

Anyone interested in up to date info should visit the SWA website who have put in a petition to Downing Street saying how unfair it is. http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/spiritualworkers/ I have signed it as well as many others I know.

The below letter is just one trading standards office take on the rules;

1. By using the words heal or healer you are suggesting that you can cure, this is not an acceptable term within the new legislation unless you can give proof of such claims. Anecdotal evidence on your abilities is now not enough, you will need to be able to justify any claim you are making.

2. You can only claim to be a Reiki Master if this is a recognised endorsement

3. Reflexology, if you claim that it can improve and help many conditions you must be able to provide proof of it, again not just anecdotal evidence.

4. Indian Head Massage - have you proof it promotes longevity and general well being?

5. This law is wide ranging you must make every attempt to avoid misleading comments or omissions

6. Sadly unless again you have absolute proof that angels exist you cannot claim they heal you.

All I can say is its the sign of the times. The world has gone mad. When you go to the spiritual churches now in England they have to read out a statement saying that it is just an experiment for entertainment purposes only its sad days the government are driving out spiritualism during the next generation there will be no mediums or clairvoyants.
