My daughter and I both see auras. I have only seen clear, white and once, blue.
Today I noticed there was an aura around the microphone and other objects in the room. Does this mean it is just a trick of my eyes, or is it energy from others left behind? I have no clue. Does anybody know?

i see white auras around physical objects too. I'm not sure if its energy that people have left behind; I always thought it was the object's aura--everything has a vibration and everything is energy, so why not! lol. I only ever saw a clear aura around physical objects though.

Tishuz, yes, it is aura what you are starting to see. Everything has aura..It isn't your imagination. Since you are becoming more open to other possibilities and your awareness is growing this is only natural..
You will possibly start to experience more similar things and keep on practicing looking at the auras it will get better and better.

I see the same things and it was the aura around a car antennae while it was moving that first alerted me to the ability. I'm not sure why but I do. I would love to know the answer as well.

I believe what you are seeing is actually the etheral energy or layer around these inanimate objects this is a layer interior to the auraic layer........
