Default do you remember...?
the 2000 millennium celebrations? Sure we are 7 years ahead and the world has changed quite a bit but I was thinking about it and I dont think I've ever seen such mass joy and hope ever after that. What a lovely day it was...wouldn't it be nice to feel so joyous and so hopeful everyday?

If only we looked at every new day as a bright new promise just like the new millennium..

Anyhow, tell me your stories about the millennium. How do you remember it/

Awww lol. Well, I spent new year 2007 baby sitting 4 little highly energetic kids But, I had a year lovely 2000. It was just the 3 of us (my family) and we celebrated very nicely at home.I think it was also during a time of some financial troubles for us but you wouldn' know by looking at how happy we all were. It was very special to be able to share the moment with my family.

So glad to hear you had lovely things happen!

Talking about 2000 millenium, ya is unforgettable. I was still living in Singapore that time, and Hello Kitty is very popular in McDonalds in asia. They came out the Millennium set, well now is sitting right on top of my monitor lol I was queing up for god knows how many hours to buy this set. Think back, is funny and now is collecting dust.
On the eve I went out to celebrate with my 2 buddies. Now the 3 of us are all seperated in different countries. Myself in Holland, one in Germany, one still living in Singapore, is unforgettable.

I too was babysitting on new years eve. I was babysitting with my friend so it wasn't too bad. We watched the celebrations on tv once the kids went to bed. We didn't think there would be mass chaos due to this y2k thing but we were at least hoping of a power outage That year I met my bf, who is still my bf... so it was a pretty good year. One that changed my life for the better anyway. It was also the year my baby brother was born. Big year all in all.
