Hello all! I lost my grandmother 2 yrs. ago. It was sudden and even though she was 83 she was still very active, as if she were 30 years younger. The night she died she was on life support but she was awake & alert. She moved her head & eyes in an attempt to communicate. O.K. now that I have given some background, I'll get to my question. I have had a very hard time dealing with it. There has not been any closure. So much was left unsaid & I have many questions. I still cry every night, I feel a huge void. We were very close, she was my best friend. I talked to her many times a day & saw her several times a week. Anyway, I found out that John Edward is coming to the state I live in June 21, 2008, and I wanted to know what you all thought about him. I don't have the money to spend if he isn't what he appears to be, as my husband is disabled and I have to be at home with him. My grandma used to watch his show with me and I still do. He had a show on tonight that the story was the same as the way she died, right down to the cause of death. And on the same show a woman who resembled grandma quite a bit(right down to the "nervous" blinking that she always did. I think it was a sign. Well, anyway, is he legitimate? Should I buy a ticket?
Thanks for any opinions given. |

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your grandma in the physical form, but I know she has never left your side. I believe she has been sending you signs that are pointing you into the direction you could take. Very neat signs in my opinion. Especially sending them on the show you watched together. As far as being a good psychic...etc. I'd say you should follow your instinct and come to your own conclusion about him. I personally enjoy watching his shows as well, but I have never been to see him in person. I like to base my own conclusions on my own personal experiences. Everyone has different experiences. So just follow your instincts because they won't lead you astray.
If you decide to go I'd love to hear what it's like going to see him in person if your willing to share. Love and blessings ![]() |

Hi Gina. I'm very sorry about your grandmother.
It is very difficult to endure the loss of a family member or friend you love and admire. Sometimes it takes a long time for the pain to lessen and then there are days when you just can't quit thinking about them. I have seen John Edwards recently. He is quite remarkable. What you see on TV is just a little clip of the reading. He actually spends about 15 minutes or so with each person he is reading. After seeing him in person it only confirmed to me what I already believed. That he truly is genuine. Please realize that if you get tickets to his show there is no guarantee you will get a reading. I did not get a reading but I was thrilled to just get to see him in person. |

Thank you all. Everyone just confirmed what I felt, he is for real. I understand a reading is not guaranteed, but I have faith (if I didn't I would have given up on the Red Sox years ago.). Grandma wasn't very strong physically, she couldn't even pump gas, but she was (and still is) very strong in spirit, and I have a feeling that if I am able to get tickets, she's going to be the one to get "in his face". Especially since we were so close and she knows I really need the closure. It won't be until June but if I go I will share my experience.

I just wanted to wish you luck with this. I think John Edwards is a wonderful, very talented man. I would love to see him in person one day.
I know it's still pretty far off, but please let us know about your exprience after you go. I would suggest that you meditate daily the week, or even the month prior to going, and try to make contact with your grandmother's spirit. Let her know what you're doing, and how much you would like her to be there with you. Even if she doesn't come thru to John, I would bet she'll be there right next to you the whole time. |
