I fell in love with apostle Paul when I read what he said about the should's.
I'm paraphrasing but it went something like this: That thing I should do, that I do not but that thing I should not do, that I do. Funny thing about human nature....what we resists can often follow us like the hounds of hades. I'm through shoulding all over myself though. Just laugh most days about my little digressions. |

There's such a big difference between performing a task joyfully, because it is in alignment with all that I AM and is not being resisted on any level, and pushing through something because I think I "should".
If something doesn't get me where me need to be, it doesn't really serve the Path. My time is better spent determining why I have resistance to doing, being, etc. whatever I think I "should" and seeing if the "should" is even valid....if it really serves me. |

I remember someone told me once, 'change the words 'have to' and 'should be' to 'choose'.'
As in 'I choose to be doing this.' It gives power to your choices, and allows you to be in control. With THAT being said, lol..., I'm choosing to make scent samples to attach to my business cards. At 10am, I'm choosing to talk with my spiritual advisor, Joan! yay! |

Yes, I agree 100%.
By saying choose, we are empowered. The other words disempower choice somewhat. I also like changing the word but to and..... I want to visit with my friends and I want to finish my work.....opens the door to more choices than using but. I LOVE your signature. Stick your nose into my business. Great hook. Now, I must go see what you do! |

Thanks for the comment on my sig line askahealer.
I have discovered by saying 'choose to' it gets rid of the self-created guilt about what I do on a daily basis. It allows me to be accountable for my actions, instead of finding some reasons outside of me. Because of this, I make wiser choices with my time. |

Every moment should be used to best serve the purpose of "SELF", for within every moment we make a statement of that which "I AM", whom I choose to be in regards to each cir***stance. ( thus in every moment "NOW" is hidden a most valuable treasure ).
Though the wise never condemn the "PATH LESS TRAVELLED", for "LIFES LESSON" are found in the "PROFOUND" and the "PROFANE" which are learnt through our "EXPERIENCES". For I cannot experience that which "I AM" until I have experienced that which "I AM not", and so I simply "CHOOSE" that which best serves the role of "SELF IDENTITY" having learnt from "LIFE EXPERIENCE". Having said that, I "ONLY" choose that which serves my "Highest Goal" in "LIFE" that being "DEVINE UNITY". |
