My first experience I was about 3 or 4. I used to hear my parents tell me things before they said it out loud. I would answer them and it would freak them out. It used to scare my dad so much I would be punished for it.
Poor you. being punished for what was normal to you. Are you still able to do this?

about 22-23 years ago. I was doing the dishes at my then boyfriends house & got a whiff of perfume that didn't fit anyone in the house (alive). The place was very cold when we first went to look at it. A huge old villa of about 5 bedrooms with lounge & seperate dining area off kitchen. Didn't live there that long. Smell seems to be my main talent but i'm working on others

When I was 16 years old I went to bed one night not thinking about much of anything, except maybe the boy that I was lusting over or the report that was due the next day in science. I fell into a deep sleep at around 10:00. My dog was five years old and was sleeping at the end of my bed as he did everynight. All of a sudden I heard the dog start to growl and felt him edging his way up to the top of the bed. His hair was standing up and his teeth were barred, and growling like crazy. I tried to get him to calm down, and as I picked him up I looked to see what the problem was. I saw a vision of a boy standing at the end of my bed.

The dog jumped off the bed and ran down the hall barking and then came back and stood in the doorway to my room still growling and baring his teeth. I say that it was a vision because the boy did not have a body like ours. He was almost transparent. The strangest thing about the whole thing is that I didn't ever see his face. But I remember that he had a striped polo shirt on and was just standing there with his arms outstretched to me, as if he wanted me to go with him.

I didn't feel afraid, and was on my way to standing up from the bed, when my parents ran into the room asking what was wrong. As they came in, the vision disappeared. It is something that will live with me for the rest of my life. I'm not sure what the stranger's purpose was, maybe just to show me that there is someone always looking over me!

That isn't the end of the story, either! My dog would never go back into my bedroom. He never slept on my bed again and would just sit at the doorway and act nervous as if he was looking for something.

aww poor dog, i sometimes wonder if my cats see things.. they're always jerking their head around when i get that gut feeling. I have never actually seen a ghost, but i the other day when it was storming, i took a picture an orb was floating in the air a couple feet away from me.

My cousin and aunty have seen ghosts in every place they have stayed, they always get the warm feeling when they are around though.

Wow loads of interesting stories!
I guess my first psychic experience was when I was about 12 or 13. I dreampt I went to my friend's house (in reality I had never been inside his house) and we sat in his kitchen and drank coffee. At 12 or 13 I didn't drink coffee. When I was about 16 (and often frequenting his house) we sat down to have coffee at his kitchen table. The first time I was in his house I noticed that it was just as my dream was but I decided to tell him about it that night. He didn't believe me unti I told him thatin my dream there was a set of steps that led to a 'secret attic' that no one was allowed in. He nearly dropped his coffee cos there was a set of steps in the closet that led to a part of the attic that had been blocked off. No one was allowed in because it was unsafe.

I have had many ( I cannot remember my first ), but the "MOST VIVID" of such I AM fulfilling in this very moment of my LIFE and shall be completed on 25th DEC 2007.

MY VISION (12 years ago)

I saw myself fasting upon a mountain, and though I was a Grown Man I wore the clothes which I most favoured when I was only a child of 4 years of age.

A voice called to me, "Joseph, Joseph", ( thought I could not see anyone apart from myself ).

I woke very amazed yet curious as to the meaning
of the vision and also the feeling of actually being "OUT OF BODY".

12 years later I AM living the interpretation of the dream and it is about to completely unfold, this is a "DEVINE REVELATION" in my life and also my "SPIRITUAL DESTINY".

Blessed we are with life in its entirety, Glory to all that IS/NOT IS.

Wow! What wonderful experiences.

My first experiense was similar to Light-of-Spirit's post about your grandad's passing away. Because when I was 11 I had my first psychic dream, that I went to school and was crying in the playground. All my friends gathered around me to ask what was wrong. Then when my teacher came to ask the same question, I told her that my grandad had died.I woke up from this dream the next morning to find my mum at by side telling me that my grandad who lived in another country had died. And for the next 6 years I got dreams that came true, I could have many dreams, but would always pick out the one that would come true. No matter how I went out of my way to ensure the dream didn't come true, it would still find a way of coming true.
There fore Light-of-Spirit, snap! we had a similar beginning into psychicness.
