Default Do you wear glasses?
random survey of the day..do you?

I just got glasses which should explain why I haven't been posting here so much, infact, i was away from the computer for the last week(except perhaps an hour a day)because of my eyes..

So, who here wears glasses..what kind? and what color?

LOL, Yes I do and you have just reminded me I have an appointment this afternoon for a check up. I have to take my specs off for reading and close work and then back on again to watch telly. I then have trouble focusing so I think Its about time I got some new ones. I'm considering contacts this time.

I have black framed glasses and I'm also near-sighted. I can barely see 5 or 6 feet in front of me when I'm reading somethng unless it's really big, so at school I always have to wear my glasses! When I first got the glasses I couldn't really walk with them on because it made the level of the ground look closer, and so I didn't know how high or how big a step I should take...lol I'm really ridiculous.

Yep, I wear glasses. Black wire framed thingy's. I was told to wear them 'whenever I wanted to see better' Duh! Wouldn't that be ALWAYS?? LOL. I wear them mostly when I'm driving, on the computer, watching television, or reading. I forget all about them until I sit down to focus on something.

I only wear my glasses at night before bed. Back in Iowa when I helped on the farm I would wear my glasses. Any other time I wear my contacts. I'm seriously thinking about the laser surgery, but I'm not sure if I'll get around to it. :/ I'd like to, but I'm slightly nervous. The eye doc. said they've had success with people with my same perscription. So I'll cross my fingers I guess

I'm very near sighted, I can see my hand a few inches away from my face, if farther away it's blurry.

My glasses are simple, with black frames. I'd like to get a new pair of glasses, but with how little I wear them...not sure if it's worth it. :P

I wear glasses just for reading books. None of those expensive fancy frames for me, I get them from the pound shop. They do just fine. I see the computer fine without, but have to admit to using a bigger text size.

I wear silver framed glasses, for a lazy eye and double vision. When I was a child I had to wear a patch over one lense, mum used to draw cartoon animals on them for me.

Yep I wear glasses! Up until about two years ago I never wore glasses, then I needed them just for driving and distance, now I need them all the time.

Mine are a metallic blue! I do not like mine now but not sure that I could wear contacts?! Ooh eck it's a long slippery slope eye sight isn't it...
