My ex's father is a chiropractitioner & also Reiki Master.
I just got interested in lots of alternative healing stuff since then I guess.. mainly because I hate the attitude of ignorant people who dismiss everything else than the traditional medicines as a quack. Though there's probably lots of quack out there, I'm convinced there's a lot of stuff that needs to become more mainstream. For instance Reiki & Rife machines. It doesn't happen though. Why is that? Mainly because of the tremendous loss of profit traditional pharmacies will suffer if "new age" medicine will take the upperhand in treatment of diseases and such. As a consequence mainstream media wants to keep the end user ignorant and closeminded. What about you? |

i got into reiki when i broke my wrist (ughhhhh bad news for a massage therapist). another MT came over to work on my shoulder that just had her attuement. she asked if i wanted to try it and i said yes. the energy surged through me and i started seeing things and hearing a roar like the rapids. freaked her out. i also started seeing this little oriental man/teenager. he kept asking me i was going to get it (reiki). i couldnt afford a teacher, but eventually met someone who became my reiki 1&2 teacher. i still have him coming to me, guiding me along the way.
butterblu ps...agree with you about the pharmceutical industry and all the evil it entails. only use homeopathy and alternative medicine. |
