1) you don't just join a forum to ask for money?
2) there are options there for you and your family, ever heard of social workers who can help you manage your financial situation -for free-?

how much money have you received so far Amy? I did some digging and see that you have posted the same "cry for help" on all of the Craigs List web sites and some other web sites as well....I also see that there is an appliance repair advertisement when your address is punched into Google. If you are truly in need, there are proper avenues....if you are not, shame on you as you are probably taking from people who really can't afford to send money but send money anyways. Thursday may be right thinking this is a wast of time. if this is a spoof than you probably wont beback to read the posts but if you do, remember, almost always, what ever you send out to the world has a way of returning on your doorstep....I will be back with more info on this person, I have to sign off as I want to contact the craigslist people about this......

Chris, thanks for the tip about the s...I did not know that or I would have placed a caution...to be honest, I am saddened by all of this and my reaction, as Jesus tried to teach us to turn the other cheek....I do try to do this. I find it easier to turn the other cheek when the wrong is done to me but have a hard time watching others get hurt.

You are really aiding others by looking at the facts of the situation and sharing giving light to a questionable post. I see people all the time who have been taken advantage of by some schemster or another. It would be a shame for someone to give to this "cause" when some many other worthy causes exist.
It is sad that people feel it is okay to deceive others and take advantage of others good will.
