1. my sister is suffering from depression. she is 24. she is unnaturally dependent on my parents due to her condition.
2. my parents are overseas and so my sister has just sunk into a deep
depression which of course is ruining my parents' trip and placing
pressure on my other sister and I to "babysit" the depressed one.
3. nothing anyone does helps, but we have to be there so she feels
safe. so i have had to give up some paid work this week to do my family
duty.
4. i am pregnant and can't deal with this right now.
5. i tried to have a talk with my sister today while i was minding her
just to get her to see things differently and from other peoples'
perspectives - not to hurt her, just to help her see that she was best
off taking control of things and her destiny.
6. my other sister then sent me a message saying to not worry about
helping my sister for the rest of the week as i have really upset her
with my "home truths"
7. being firey, i then sent a message back telling her to basically f off and why.
8. i am so hurt and angry. feel like the scapegoat - my depressed
sister has a way of dividing and conquering in this family. maybe it's
not her fault but it makes life difficult.

I can understand what you mean. I think your sister just needs some warm energy and love sent her way! Keeping her in my prayers!!! I am sorry things are looking bad...(((HUGS))) you need more time to yourself..take care of the beautiful you...and maybe you could send some healing energy to your sister!!! Keeping you and your sister in my prayers. And, I hope things get better between you and your other sister as well...we can all fight and yel in a family...and then things always get back to the loving ones! I hope they do!!!!!

Is your sister also depressed, Chris? If so, my sympathies are
with you and her. It's a terrible thing to happen in any family. Things
are not looking down - I refuse to see the world that way I am just
keeping my distance from both sisters. Licking my wounds so to speak. I
just don't need the stress and I'm over being a matyr - won't do it

no my sister isnt depressed i have no clue what her problem is..none of us do..but she does act "depressd" and the thing that comes off it is mom geting depressed and few hours after her sobbing and crying i see her in the bar and she's having all the fun in the world. oh well.. i guess all i can do is ignore it and nothing but i hate it that she just likes to play with mom's feelings...

Thanks Moonshine. I am feeling better than I was last night when
I wrote my rant Thank you. As I said before, I am just going to keep
my distance from both sisters or I'll probably get caught up in the
same old family crap I always do. I'm going to stay well out of it
