I dont think im quite happy with the media at the moment. Well, there was an incident in Saskatchewan university where the University paper printed a cartoon of Jesus in explicit sexual positions. And then how can we forget the Mohammed Cartoons but...in general leaving all those aside, i think the media is corrupt, works on fear factor and is only concerned about money. I hate them! lol

agree. I think the media in general is highly irresponsible and the
effect it has on children and adults alike is horrific. It has more
influence than a lot of people realise. I don't know how much tv I want
my unborn son to watch - probably very little.font

the media is all about making money. Well atleast the ones i know. Look at Calgary Herald, CTV, like the dont report important news at all! I mean I dont care if Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie or Britney Spears or whoever is doing whatever. I dont care if Paris Hilton or Hillary Duff are getting married or flirting with someone. And yet, all these stories are more important to the media than hunger and death in Africa or the violence in iraq, the unrest in Palestine.

And then Hurricane Rita...while the whole world is worried about Rita, we get to hear about some crappy star who was visiting calgary..gimme a eak!

i will have to agree...if it wasnt for the media, lifed make so much more sense instead of people trying to act, look, talk like superstars...

Yeah..i share the frustration too. I hate the media. Like, look at those channels, half of them dont make sense to me (ok a lot of things dont make sense to me but..) They are highly irresponsible and they are teaching little kids the wrong thing, i dont know what else can i add...theres so many problems with the media..and i dont like them. I mean who cares whichever celeity is sleeping with whoever?
