I have tried some herbal treatment from one of those chinese doctor places that are springing up in shopping centres now, but it didn't seem to be having any effect, so I stopped it.
I was impressed with the diagnosis and the stuff they told me, but after two months I wasn't seeing any differences, so couldn't justify the expense of carrying on with it. |

I believe in a lot of alternative healing therapies and have had opportunites to try some of them out! Though I never learned reiki, i have receieved distant reiki on some ocassions and have felt their affects right after. So, I definatley beleive in the enourmous power of reiki. Then, ayurveda, its just so amazing and al those recipes work, you have to go away from home to find your way home, seriously i hated it when my parents had me eating healthy food and on and on, then now im come back to it and realise its importance. I also beleive in Shamanic energy work, i have done that and its always worked out. I have done Shamanic journey, the grokking, trance haling, soul retrieval and other SHamanic methods and they have all worked for me. Aromas are my favorite as well, I have a thing for pleasure i guess then lmao...then gemstone healing etc..instant healing, spells, herbs....i belive in all of them that i have tried.
There is a whole world of opportunities there, if only we try! But then not all methods will work for everyone, it just depends on the individual, their thoughts and their openeness to the method. To me, just listening to Aum Chantation can heal headaches, back pain, feelings of dehydration, soreness, my eyes which i often have trouble with cuz i spend so much tme on the computer and so much more. But, i am aware that will not be the case for everyone. Acupressure has worked wonders and literally got rid of my 5 year old headache in 5 minutes!!! Its just odd, sometimes i feel, you need the right time to even get healed lolol. Theres a time for everything? |

yeah I suppose con was a bad choice of word, there are good and bad in all professions and that also includes alternative healing methods. I perhaps should have asked if anyone has had any bad experiences with alternatives! and yes they all work if you need them too! I am having hypnosis next week arghhhhhhhhh....hopefully that will be an enjoyable experience too

Umm alright I get it now lol....duh! Well I am not trying to scare you but hypnosis scares me. I am ok and i do self hypnosis but i wouldnt let others hypnotize me lolol...Plus with self hypnosis i know how far to go but....with others i cant tell...im scared. I have a sleep disorder and therefore i dont like hypnosis or deep trance effecting me and making my sleep disorder worse. Its crazy but it scares me that i wont wake up again! and it does happen, not like im dead or anything but thats my sleep disorder, i can get VERRRRRY deep sleep so yes, hypnosis for me is only limited to self
I havent had any bad expereinces with alternative healing yet..... |

yeah I know wot ya mean...I was seeing an irridologist last year...did feel great while taking the herbs for a while but eventually noticed no difference so stopped going. Was very expensive but I did enjoy the experience...was facinating! I am having hypnotherapy at the moment....and it was great....felt truly relaxed! and it does seem to be working! but if it doesn't seem to be working any more then I will stop.

truthfully speaking though, im quite reluctant to get healing from any businesses unless i know them or someone i know has experienced them and recommended them. Maybe Karen they had already healed you cuz you said you felt better and now you didnt need it anymore about the iridology. I dont know. I've never tried that stuff.
