Well I dont know Harry, it is just my opinion but i dont mind them not covering the news. I mean we do have a right to be informed but, if thats the price we have to pay to keep our country united and peaceful...im ok with it. I dont think the Muslims here'd be happy if they printed those cartoons to show us what happened and why. I guess it'd help us understand the situation but i guess there would be much more else coming from it. I know the CBC does actually tell you about it, though it doesnt show the cartoons or anything, but maybe you're right, others are doing it for money...but as long as its keeping us united and understansding to each other..thats what we need anyway.

The whole thing is a terrible situation but sometimes i think the MAIN problem with the world is we are all such hypocrites. Theres more effort to actually ignite more tensions than to forget it, say sorry it happened and move on as a united world..

*sigh*

well yeah but they could atleast tell us whats going on and i believe they can do that without publishing the cartoons or causing disputes and violence. Im sure they can but they're all too scared. They'd rather oadcast other stupid news, like yes, it was sad but...why'd they have the dog and the child in the frontpage when the child recivered and the dog is being put down?

Yep, but shouldn't political cartoons be left political. I mean what purpose did the cartoons serve anyway. It was foolish to publish something like that and then...what can i say the world is dumb.
