Default What role does Los Angeles(City of Angels) play?
i was just wondering if anyone had information about los angeles, ca being the city of angels and how it fits into the 2012 event? i was born in la and have always felt that it possessed some sort of significance to our future. i know that one of the planet's chakras is located in los angeles, so that makes it special. thank you for any responses.

peace and blessings

yeah, los angeles is spanish for "the angels". i was just wondering because of the name, if the city of los angeles or city of "the angels" has some part in our evolution here on earth. i have been unable to locate information on this theory and was hoping someone here could shed light on the subject.

peace and blessings

i dont know of any direct connection to that city being the city of angels and any future happenings on earth.

i do think that it's called the city of angels for a reason tho. it's placement, is at a crossroads of culture, and history. of course in all it's history, la has been wrapped in magic and dreams...i'm not sure if the location has to do with it, or if it's just where it all happened to land. quite the mix there, when you first think la you prolly think hollywood, rich, delux, high fashion, fast paced, and famous. but la is so much bigger and so much more then that...all the way down to the fact that it is very simply just a normal city, in this great big magical country of ours.

when i would commute to la, i actually never saw anything out of the ordinary, weather i was playing on the strip, walkin the board walks, or driving the city streets, or attending one of it's underground events. leaving me to only see that la was a normal city with a grip **** of traffic

so i dont know that we can ever "prove" that los angeles has some angelic power, until it actually happened. we can however, see the world as magical, and angelic, and with out the powers of our amazing intentions desires and workings, none of it would be anything. so in that aspect, your city is very very amazing, because you are in it. los angeles can possibly ben seen as being able to carry a huge weight of magic, because it is full of unique people/wonders/plants and animals. it is surrounded by the ocean, mountains, deserts and man made mongliphs as well.

i feel that way about slc as well. it is most famed for what...mormons, maybe sundance, and well more mormons...but with it's high concentrate of extremes (weather, people, culutre and history) and it being a highly concentrated area of water, mountains, arid dryness, snow, lightning, etc, but above all that...a grip ton of salt to keep us all grounded...i see this city as absolutely amazing, and magical....give your surroundings love and it will give you that love back...and love is the work of angels.

blessings to you

i have always felt a particular vibe in california and particularly los angeles. i would describe the feeling i get as "i'm home". i was born within los angeles city limits, moved to arizona after my parents divorced when i was about 6 or 7, and came back home(la area) when i was 15 or 16. just like david gravitated toward virgina beach, i was pulled to la.

you are probably on to something blacksunshine with regards to the possibility that la is so special because of it's various occupants. i believe david currently calls la home, even though he is constantly on the move. this is a very special world, however, there are certain areas that are located on the earth’s invisible "energy grid". such as the bermuda triangle, it's pacific ocean counterpart, norfolk naval shipyard(project rainbow-philadelphia experiment), and montauk, long island. perhaps la is located on the "energy grid", which would be a partial explanation of it's significance.

good question!

and the whole thing about "hollywood". hollywood is supposedly the wood they make magic wands out of. like they have some magic effect of illusion on the world.

love that quote you just made there. i pay no attentino to hollywood, i rarely even pay attention to politics...i mostly just mind my own, and take to the hills or the deserts. i dont know how much gas costs, i am completely lost on the "illusion" that i think many people might know all about. (i'm under this impression, because they come into my work and bitch and moan about something going on, and i look at them like ) most would consider this ignorant, and silly, but i"m well connected, and just dont need "more" of it in my life...i appreciate what i get from sites such as this one. but i must say that hollywood holding a wand, could definately play a real good part in society being the way that it is. i often see it as a distraction to what is truly important (to me anyway) so i usually choose to stay out of it.

i just dont know if that is a good thing or not , either way, it's not for me.

that is a beautiful translation. sometimes meaning can get so easily lost in our simple ways of speaking the english language.

you know, ive sensed this as well. born and raised here. i suppose it seems biased when so far everyone commenting that has felt it, i believe has or does live here... lol

but verily i feel it in my bones, and always have. its a weird energy.
you know californians in general are seen as laid back and more open and accepting from what i hear from others who do not live here.

it doesnt seem like it most of the time, but i suppose what i perhaps consider as 'non-accepting' is perhaps nothing compared to other locations. i have family located in the south, and i have experienced some really deep... close-mindedness... for example my grandmother told me duran duran was devil worshipping music rofl!

so in that sense i suppose its more accepting.

maybe its cause of the gridline?

theres something about the earth though, like its alive, it has some kind of energy. ive visited other places, like the grand tetons in wyoming, and it didnt feel the same as here.

if california ever did separate from the mainland (lol), could we petition to be the new atlantis? (totally joking) :d

must agree, i sorta get the same feeling. but personally i don't think it will. but prehapes it is possible. for one reasion- negative enegy and thoughts (as seeing it in the media, ect...) i mean since were all one in the same enegy source and thoughts (as said in some of davids interviews and audio blogs.) you might not even know it but after reading and seeing it alot you'll end up thinking "well what if it does fall off into the ocean?" or something like. then some people will start beliveing it and since the negative enegy/thoughts will create a negative outcome. (if i understand correctly. or along those lines.):d and a personal note: i would be sad if califoria went off into the ocean, ect... no more disney land (totly joking on that part)

hahah disney land. that one hadn't even crossed my mind. i personally am not a very big fan of oc. i lived there, and i moved....to slc ut. i have had more journeying here, then i ever could get anyone to join me on out there....that i had always found that so odd. i always enjoyed my journeys to la, and sd tho that is for sure. i think there has to be something magical about northern cali too, so much diversity takes place in that state.

i think with minds like the ones on this board, and all the others that dont post, are certainly contributing to the vibration of the state of the state, tho. and that isn't a bad thing at all :d.

i never really did think that cali would fall into the ocean....but who knows, one day i might just sink into the great salt lake...

love where you are!!

well i'm glad to see some positivity regarding la. i've always wondered about la and california in general and i've always wanted to go. but from what i see on " tv " and from what we know about la, i've often been turned off about it. sure there's people there that feel very home and happy to be there, but you also have the celebrity type, the plastic surgery and the people who feel they are better than everyone in the entire country by living there. lol i guess if la is indeed on a grid point, than the higher energy flowing there effects the good and the bad.

i recently read somewhere that the energy of cities near water manifests prosperity, and the energy of cities with mountains manifests kindness.

i never lived in l.a., but it has always turned me off b/c of the materialism. after living in n.y.c. for a short time, i was also turned off by the general attitude there. i also lived in the south, where the vast majority of people are brainwashed and highly judgemental. all these places were by water...and there were much money to be made in these cities. however, the mentality in these places were one of self-service.

the only place i enjoy living and wish i was still there was the pacific northwest where people were educated, non-judgemental, and respected the natural environment. i guess it should not be surprising that it is by both water and mountains.

san francisco was also nice, but people there seemed a little bit too competitive for my taste. and it borders more water than mountain.

hm...where is pacific nordwest situated??? my astrocartographic paradiselines run through seattle and vancouver...at the moment i live on the westcoast of sweden, very close to water and no mountains. before that in a small village in the mountains in the middle of sweden and recently i regained contact with my father who has a small house "way out east" in the countryside close to the east-see btw sweden and finland.

margaret mead the anthropologist wrote about the riverpple mundugumor who were extremely aggressive and competitive and only those children that cried the loudest got nurtured and survived.

just some miles away in the woods lived another tribe, totally peaceful, all children were breastfed as long as they wanted and everybody helped eachother out.

isn't this extremely puzzling and connects to the theory about living close to running water where trade can easily develop?....the mayans on the other hand had a big city in the woods with no rivers but collected rainwater in hughe cisterns..when the rain suddenly stopped falling for years the society violently fell apart.

all the same we cannot blame the water for our behaviour, that's something we must transcend alright.

i lived in santa barbara, ca, for 35 years, and traveled over the state often. i am an energy healer and sensitive to energetic patterns. the 'vibes' of la and las vegas, nv, are much too much for me...chaotic. san francisco is calmer and not bad for a city. santa barbara is beautiful with the city tucked between mountains and the ocean, and the city's polarities are strong. 'the sun shines brightest when the shadows are darkest', so, while there is a broad strata of consciously living folks, there is also a negative intensity about working constantly 'to keep one's head above water' for those not well-heeled, and another kind of intensity to keeping up appearances for those who 'have money'.

now i live in rural new england, and find this energy to be a welcome return to the four seasons...the life, death and resurrection cycle... the forced restfullness of being snowed-in and the changing displays of nature and wildlife. this is still a predominantly mental culture, with the protestant work ethic driving many, ... a bit of rigidity with wisdom mixed in with ignorance...but i am enjoying the trees and others who are on this wonder path of knowing truth.
