i live in miami, florida, and we've had something incredible happen the month before this historic election of barack obama. the month of october we had 0 homicides...the last time that happened was in the late 60's...when i heard this i was almost shocked, and it's amazing to know that positive change is so close to home. i'm not naive, and i understand that kind of thing might not happen again, but signs like these inspire those who already do good, to try harder. godspeed to everyone, and much love as always.

i really hope this thing spreads... cos where i live a majority of teenagers boast about how many stab wounds they have, how long they'v spent in prison etc... its really messy tbh. its good if you or i are sensing the inreased vibes, but how do you even begin to explain to people like this about the wider reality? dont want to sound arrogant here, but these kids consider the amount of people theyv hurt in some way as a score system, ie the more violent the better.

greetings tutle and sprider,
miami, florida 0 homicides --> wow just an idea, i wonder if you could "sell" them on the idea of keeping a score or count on "self control". how many times during the day can one can hold self control of self and not act in violents. this would be quite powerful for all concern and less painful. perhaps wearing a symbol of this count, like they do on the football helments, the stars...... i really hope this thing spreads... cos where i live a majority of teenagers boast about how many stab wounds they have, how long they'v spent in prison etc... its really messy tbh. its good if you or i are sensing the inreased vibes, but how do you even begin to explain to people like this about the wider reality? dont want to sound arrogant here, but these kids consider the amount of people theyv hurt in some way as a score system, ie the more violent the better. peace be with you all ! |

strider,
unfortunately i don't think there's much you can do in regards to reasoning with others that currently hold that perception of "what's cool" in their mind. what i would hope is that as the light workers continue to strengthen and the shift in consciousness starts to take hold more strongly, that maybe they will start to awaken to the new reality of life. apart from that, what you and i and others could offer is exactly the things i've read about in so many posts here. send out your good vibes, thoughts of love, healing and peace! you don't have to run around and do this or that. it's something you can do while sitting in your chair after reading through these posts. or while taking a little break from work. it's not hard, it's just something to be more mindful of doing that's all. peace, john |

the kind of boasting and score-keeping you describe is something that happens to kids when they have nobody to guide them into the full potentials of humanity - they instinctively "default" into 2-density thought patterns and instincts. this lack is at root, i'm guessing, a result of their economic situation. thus, you won't be able to hook them on "self-control," which is anything but a virtue to a second-density being, until their living situations are brought up to at least financial and academic "middle class." hopefully we'll see an end to the war on the middle class soon. i really hope we do.

a little bit of ideas and debate here, which is cool. just wanted to remind you that what i meant by my post is that, light and love can make a big difference in a city where if a cuban and a venezuelan bump into each other, they'll kick the snot out of each other. people have been behaving a lot better last month, so let's keep on putting out positive vibes in our respective cities and towns, so we can all make a difference..
p.s. i'm haitian by the way, the forgotten people of miami..heh. |
