hello everyone, let me first state that as well as haveing asperger's i am also dyslexic, so i hope all who read this can understand. i was diagnosed as haveing asperger's in 2005 at the age of 39. when i was at school in the 70's i found life almost intolarabole and had a server mental backdown at the age of 12. for manny years i surched for an anser as to why i found the company of strangers terifiying and after a wonderfull spirichal mowment in a book shop in norwich uk, i then discoverd what was the trubole and then had it profeshanaly veryfide.
now i am not so shore that asperges is what is the dificulty. after being kicked out of a church i went to for being an aspie, i started to be aware that there was a very posative powerfull spirichal forse (what i call the unaversal spirit) that has helped me to see that what i thoght was the truth was infaced a half truth. to cut a very long emosanal story short i have found that i am a wanderer. this has satesfide all my questons as to the strange dreams and the fellings that i'm not from hear. a knowing i have had since i was 5. what i will say to all you good people out there is, please don't be to hursh on aspies or any other laboles that so caled lernned people put on folk, it is after all there way of understanding what is difarent. i'm proud to be an aspie wanderer with dyslexia. said to you all with love, from richard. xx |

your story sounds very similar to mine, grenzee/ richard. i had a breakdown at the same age as you...i also left a church (i wasn't kicked out, but left) which i realized was only the half truth...it was a very confusing time for me, my teenage years (i would never want to go back!).
anyway...a very warm welcome to you, this is such a fascinating website and lovely forum. i see you are from the uk too, good place to be, lol. some day soon i have to get up to wiltshire to take a good look at those crop circles, maybe even camp on top of one. :d |

this is something everyone should do a google search on, and also the man who pioneered it, [please pm for name]
if we all knew each others bio type this would help the world tremendously in understanding each other. for example, i know why david constantly gives backgrounds to so many different topics hes talking about whenever he does an interview. not only because it helps build a better picture to the story but its alo because his bio type, which is known as a torso sway walker. just what exactly is a bio type?, let me give some background (im also a torso sway walker) johnny is an adult with aspergers syndrome, which means he is basically a gifted genius. most people call it a "higher" form of autism. he cannot recognize faces or pick up on social cues like many "normal" people can. its like us staring at a bunch of monkeys and they all look the same, and we dont pick up on any of their social cues without close observation. so as a child and like many autistic people he was extremely observant, and noticed that certain people who walked a certain way would behave a certain way. this gift developed out of necessity since most of his peers were very harsh and judgemental and picked on him because they usually didnt say what they meant so he interpreted things wrong and in turn he would say and do things a socially unacceptable times and get ridiculed.so bio typing was born.... he would notice how someone stood or walked and know exaclty how to greet them without any conflict because the way these people carried themselves physically determined their personality traits. which would show up consistently in other people of the same bio type. after traveling all over the world, and working as a mime under the guidance of marcel marceau gained the exquiset knowledge of the body he has today. he concluded, (especially after visiting a tribe in the amazon with all three bio types represented in the people there) that there are 3 bio types and they are irrespective of race or gender, and you have the same bio type from the moment your born to when you die. the 3 bio types are, backwards faller, torso sway walker, and forward faller, these bio types also have certain breathing patterns, and learned to walk as a child in a certain manner. as some of you may know johnny was key in dick clarks recovery because of his gift. especially how much he knew about the bodies mechanics, which he studied for many years. its safe to say there is no other person who is in tune with the bodies musculoskeletal system as him, otherwise you would see much more about them. part of his gift is the ability to visualize the entire 600+ muscles in our body all at once, this is a normal thing for people with autism, its much like animals. they both are right hemisphere dominant and think in pictures, just as [name] book suggests (google her too) many of you know that there are different brain wave pattersn such as alpha beta(both are waking state) and theta(meditation), and that when we are meditating it takes many people a while to get into theta. well, when he was hooked up to an eeg, as soon as it was turned on he was already in theta, in fact he can switch theta on and off like a lightbulb...pretty fascinating eh? one of the things he teaches is how you solve a problem physically carries over to other areas of your life. and to demonstrate this he will ask someone to stand up, all the while he is holding a volleyball(or something similar), and then he asks them how do you react to stress, and usually the person tells them how they try to cope with it. then he pretends to throw the ball(stressor) at them. he makes his observation(its instantaneouse) on thier reaction. this tells them how they really react with stress, which is usually far from what they say. i purposely left out the exact details of the bio types because i encourage people to read his book and learn about his philosophy as much as possible. i know in my heart if we all walked around and said, "oh, jims that way because hes a forward faller, its ok. then the world would be alot better. pm me for any additional info and the books. |

dear all,
this is a fascinating discussion - i think maybe my entire family (including me) has a form of this 'syndrome' to some degree...we all seem to have 'muddled through' without a definitive diagnosis as such - but maybe we are all wanderers who just don't relate to this planet? synchronistically i was just sent this article about 'autistic savants' - and when you see what they can do you start thinking about the 'consciousness field' that they are tapping into - how else to explain their amazing abilities? http://www.neatorama.com/2008/09/05/...-in-the-world/ |

after reading davids most recent blog entry i cant help but be reminded about this thread. why? because he said our eyes are strong torsion field generators. and it made me realize this might be why many people with aspergers or autism find it hard to look you in the eye, because they are so sensitive to this it is literall overload to them.

what a fascinating discussion. i don't have a problem with labels if it helps to communicate observations, as opposed to a separatist us and them mentality, and would love to be able to put some kind of label on what i am or have, to facilitate more understanding.
so, i read about indigos, check. i read about wanderers, check. now its aspergers, check again. so who am i? i'm not begging for a label, only to know what's going on, so that i can respond appropriately. being different has made life very difficult, and i was suicidal most of my life because it was just too much to take. now two young people close to me are getting pretty constant with their suicide attempts. their symptoms are similar to mine, so i have no problem understanding their longing to leave this world. there are some very intelligent wise people on this forum. for those who would care to comment, here is my list of traits: extreme sensitivity to external stimuli, sounds, light etc. , inability to socialize in a normal way, can't understand what they're talking about half the time, also dislike of "small talk", very high iq, addictive personality, obsessive compulsive to some degree, fascination with the stars, used to stare at mars through a telescope when a child, read every science fiction book in my small library by the age of 12, didn't play with the kids at recess, read books instead, fascination with the paranormal from an early age, can't stay in a supermarket etc. for long become overwhelmed, will get overwhelmed very easily by just about anything. overwhelmed by responsibility, so have simplified my life by selling my house, giving away all possessions, and travelling around. feel best when i travel. am curious about everything, especially people, love to observe them. can't seem to have long term relationships, will sabatoge them or just run away. on the other hand have a small group of friends i am extremely loyal to, most i have known for long periods. very sensitive to the pain of others. there's more, but i guess i better stop. the worst thing was the overwhelming emotional pain of unknown origin that was what caused the constant thoughts of suicide. that's gone now, only residuals left. what a relief. have explored many therapies, trying to fix myself. but now it's just a matter of living one day at a time, being in the moment, enjoying each moment, grateful for the many blessings, still wondering about the label but am content to not know, if that is what happens. acceptance is a wonderful healer. |

hi larissa, im not a doctor, or an expert. but if i had to guess just by those traits you listed you sound like you have some autism in you. i have met 3 autistic savants and they educated me alittle on their lifes. as far as wanderers go, i think the only ones that are wanderers from other planets are the ones that have obviouse differences in their thoughts, not just there beliefs, but the way they think. and i think autistics and aspergers folks fall into this category. i have good book on aspergers i would like to reccomend, pm me for the name.
one thing id like to metion about savants is that they are ususally extremely gifted in certain areas, like numbers, art etc etc |
