preserving free will is quite fundamental and necessary in order to crystalize our eternal being. imagine a part of ourselves sitting in the akashic library, continuously studying and brewing up ways to bring about situations that will ultimately allow us to face that which is to be forgiven, accepted and incorporated within as well as without. free will is preserved simply by having what most would call "faith", faith in our higher selves, faith in all selves. this in turn allows us to rediscover our-selves truthfully. the akashic records are there to keep track of our "will", to encourage "creativity", to allow a continuation of efforts, be it of our or others past, present or future.......................sylvain.................... .....

another term for this is the collective consiousness. as your level of enlightenment increases (vibration) if your mind is not cluttered up, it is easy to acess this spiritual google when ever you need to.

greetings chrisc just to add some additional info from the spiritual discipline of the ageless wisdom the exact reason why we don't cannot remember our past life and its relation to the wheel of time and karma!

the exact true reason is that during each incarnation most of all people on earth do not create virtue in there lives , there is a direct correlation between quality of life and the remembering of its aspects! there is a actual path work based upon the spiritual initiations and how to connect with the the soul & that is included in creating virtue in this process!

its not the way our brains think in terms of absolute situations ,rather the process to become ones soul clearly defined in the cosmic spiritual initiations is a process of becoming a greater expression of life! to even add more info here to have many people like on this forum to become spiritual light workers is that normal incarnations of human being are about 800 and when a person reaches the 90% level they automatically become a spiritual light worker sooner rather than later!

there is always a reason for our reincarnation back to this density, to view the akashic records would be quite hurtful (i guess).

there´s a good reason for why we cannot remember our past lives until we are spiritually mature to handle it, simply because we have not always done good things. it is a blessing not to remember past lives, in this way everyone can start fresh, without the burden of past lives. can you imagine yourself as a babe thinking "oh, i am so mad at myself, i shouldn´t have done this or that to so or so in this or that lifetime". that would not be fun, in my opinion anyway.

so, i would not view my akashic record before i felt ready to handle alot of stuff, both postive and negative.

that´s my take on it,

heres a prayer in an anchinet earth language (i can't recall the name), its called the salome peace meditation:

saalome gam naan ben uurda, gan niiber asaala hesporoona!
translation: peace be on earth, and among all beings.

do this every first and third saturday (and sunday too if you wish) of the month for 20 min.

it is supposed to help you get in touch with the akashic records. gl
