in dreams,

there really aren't too many careers for people with a degree in metaphysics, in terms of the classic "go to school, get a degree, and make a career for yourself" meme. then again, there don't seem to be too many careers waiting for people with degrees of any kind lately. higher education is somewhat of a scam (and yes i have enough letters after my name and student loan bills to qualify me to make that statement )

a degree in metaphysics probably would work best as an adjunct to another degree. you can, of course, take any kind of degree and become a professor of said degree. it may also serve you in making a career out of writing on metaphysical topics (books, music, movies), public speaking and seminars, and spiritual counseling.

in all honesty, if you really want to make a career out of metaphysics, i would suggest getting a solid education in business and entrepreneurship, and studying metaphysics on the side.

i am a metaphysician too!!! no letters after the name though. i work as a chef, on my tax return i list myself as shaman/chef. trick with metaphysics, light-work, magic, is that you apply them in whatever you do. in fact, a highly "qualified" metaphysician can find work doing absolutely anything. so, the degree is great but the need for good metaphysicians is strong everywhere. why wait for a degree?! go out and start making money as a metaphysician now!

(this non-product not tested by federal regulatory bodies for effectiveness or side-effects, and should not be tried without the express consent of the whole self.)

well if you had the ability to channel you could help people, have a very successful website, like divine cosmos & collect contributions to further your work & live on. then as your work grows, there is paid lectures, books, movie deals, etc. outside of that the phrase 'would you like frys with your meal'? comes to mind.

degree in metaphysics?

might as well save your money and print up your own fancy diploma!

classical metaphysics is a branch of philosophy of which term harks back to some writings of aristotle concerning the "science" of being that were given the "metaphysic" designation by a much later date philosopher.

considering the above limitation there is no academically certified "school" of learning covering the kind of psychic information that seekers in this forum are pursuing. that is not to say that there there is no interesting informative material given in the studies, but how does one begin to separate the wheat from the chaff? in reality most if not all of these metaphysical "schools" would be classified as academically meaningless unrecognized "diploma mills"....even scams

making a living as a "metaphysician" would most likely be a harrowing experience of scrambling to escape absolute poverty.

the divine cosmos site is a most unusual first-rate creation and loaded with exceptional material, and one must realize that david is a very special one-of-a-kind ... but accomplishing such a feat has taken painful years to assemble, yet with all of this going for him david is not experiencing material riches by any reasonable criterea. upon studying his life story, studded with obstacles, one is left wondering just how he has managed to even survive.

so, merely having a web site -- lost among millions -- is a help more apparent than real.

i don't want to be the messenger of unadulterated negativity, but seeking a "profitable" career in "metaphysics" might turn out to be a fools' errand. (of course there are always exceptions for exceptionaly gifted individuals.

billybob, career guidance expert...with diploma to boot.

great synchro starwhite, i almost used the "would you like fries with that?" line too.

what did buddha say to the hot dog vendor? make me one with everything.

so the dude did, handed the dog to buddha, and buddha handed him a ten. then the hot dog dude just stood there until buddha said "i gave you a ten, don't i have some change coming?" to which the hot dog vendor replied, "true change comes from within!"

metaphysicians at work!
