i think in many cases that is an ego-trap of self aggrandization. the wanting to be;
1. someone famous and influential in a past life, thus producing a feeling of importance 2. being from a "high density" before incarnation. therefor more advanced or above others around you. we are all the same intelligent energy. we are all exactly as we should be. pursuing such avenues seems like a waste of time as it is not assisting in the furthering of positive polarization of our sub-logos and the knowledge is of a transient nature which is of little to no importance in the overall scheme of things.... continue spiraling ever upwards, austin |

this is an interesting question and i think , is a musing that will better flesh out your understanding of the mechanics of our infinite rebirth.
it is definitely stated the we are all one. it is definitely stated that we all come back to one. what subject i want to point you to is the paradox that while all matter is the creator, there is a separation set in place that lets each piece of the creator's conscious to experience separately, adding to the whole of knowledge. the point that our individualism starts melding is when we choose to clump into social/memory complexes. think of it as a neural network with each node being a personality. even further than that the point that we are able to actually come back to one, every little portion of creation comes back to the primal logos, is also a point where we immediately begin a new cycle of creation. as it was explained to me on this forum just a few days ago it might be that while we may have a few moments to bask in the knowledge of everything, we are also thrust back into the fledging birth of a logos, potentially being once again separated from that knowledge, to who knows what extent. this is all the design of the creator, a design to experience itself infinitely in all ways possible. man when we really start thinking of these esoteric portions of the law of one the material is really hard to grasp. i hope that the idea that we have many graduations of knowledge, love, and transformation to go before we have access to these thoughts is comforting. i think babysteps |

this is really intriguing to me as well.
this is dolores cannon's take on it: [please pm for book link] it says some souls have memories imprinted upon them for reasons such as to help them fit in and also to mold what there experience will be like in there present life. there just seems to be infinite different ways things are and everytime i think i am getting a hold on the way things work something like that throws a wrench and breaks it all up. it just seems anything and everything is possible and does exist in some way. if not in this dimension then in one of the infinite other parallel dimensions. love to all, foo |

i wondered the same thing as you did dkv. as far as i know, or was told, there are 2 past lives that i lived. but i always wondered if there were more, and what i did and maybe learn from my past mistakes to evolve. i figure that i (my higher self) could tell me who i was and what i did ... but then again, that may only happen if my higher self deems it necssary.

yeah, it is like, i feel like i have been here forever, but at the moment don't remeber any past lives except for the very end of a brief one where i was just a little girl with my sister and for some reason we both, (me first, she was supposedly going to follow me) jumped down a well....besides that i rember comming into the womb, being a baby etc and bits of this life but not much of even this lifetime.... on the other hand i feel i have knowlege of past history, and usually intuativley know almost more about other people than i know about myself if that makes sense.

i was just thinking, wondering about past live recollection being the same with many people thinking they had the same past life, or thinking they were the same person as someone else etc....
if we somewhat all go back to more of the "one" or the "all....then wouldn't we in a way, all being "one", technically all have the same past lives anyways in a way? sorry for thinking out loud yet again....lol. |

hmmm, yet another point to ponder...
i seem to remember parts of at least a dozen other lifetimes, but i don't recall ever being famous; somewhat well-to-do a couple times, but never really rich either. there are a couple things that could possibly explain this phenomenon. for instance, from a 3d point of view, we are in a closed system here on earth, so as the atoms and molecules come together to form the matter of our bodies, it's quite conceivable that those same atoms and molecules were once a part of some famous body. i once heard a scientist say that just by breathing the earth's air it's quite probable that we're breathing some of the same atoms that were once breathed by jesus, or bhudda, etc. from the perspective of a soul viewpoint, you could say that once you get out of this system, and time is no longer relevant, and you look at it from the perspective of a [b]'future' collective, social memory complex/b], (like ra) you could very possibly remember some of the more famous lifetimes. |
