i recently re-listened to dw's 6-28-08 reading, and portions of it mention that an entity such as ra view time like a river, but whichever way they turn so does the river flow. for those of us in 3rd density, we just see the one direction of the river flow. there is a tendency for us in 3d to stare up the river, to stay focused on the past - which it says tends to cause us to relive those experiences. sounds a lot like a 'law of attraction' concept.
so if a person is regularly repeating the same experience, it's because they aren't letting go of the past? it appears then that the key to not reliving those experiences is to find out what emotion/thought/feeling is that they're stuck on, to face it, and to then let it go. only then can they face the future without the past being a proverbial ball and chain. is there more that needs to be done to break the cycle? what other things am i missing out on, or not thinking of? i'm interested in everyone's thoughts on this topic, it seems a great opportunity to do some learn/teaching. best wishes to all. tom |

hi tom,
interesting topic and good questions. so if a person is regularly repeating the same experience, it's because they aren't letting go of the past? we could possibly be consciously letting go of the past, but if the lesson we were meant to learn has gone right by us un-learned, we will surely be experiencing it again until we do 'get it'. it appears then that the key to not reliving those experiences is to find out what emotion/thought/feeling is that they're stuck on, to face it, and to then let it go. at least that's how i think it works ![]() i'm having a look at some quotes from loo to see what ra says about this and will be back to share if i find some appropriate ones. namaste, nancy |

hey!
the thing is that when you are "questioning" your fears (bringing them to light so to speak), is that the emotion(commotion) will lessen. this is something i can personally vouch for. the best and easiest way (in my opinion) to end the cycle of karma is to meditate and bring up the thought/emotion and view it with neutral eyes - i have tried this, and it does really work. face your fears, and face the world fearless! peace |

i believe i may be having a recurring event happening.
when i got married it was to go-go dancer, with 2 kids, 8 (girl) and 12(boy). i just recently started to see someone who was a go-go dancer, with 2 kids, 8(girl) and 12(boy). so much synchronization, but what did i miss the first time? i don't know. will have to play it out and may choose a different unknown tree path. cheers! |

yes, i love this information. the only way to understand and "get" anything in your life, is to face it!! to let your higher self feel what is going on so it can help you....correct? but, the hardest part is to face the shadow side with true compassion and love, aiding this part towards the light, without judgement. this is what i believe will end all suffering, for humanity: face the fear with love, nurture yourself with innocence like a child, do not judge only guide towards light/love peace |

thanks for the replies everyone, they're most helpful.
i thought i'd share something new relating to this i experienced. often times when i'm thinking about something like this, i'll open a word processor and just type whatever comes to mind. it's kind of like a form of automatic writing to me. i ended up making a list of things, and i noticed that somehow two of the words randomly in the list were in all caps. the words were forgiveness and acceptance. i think i'm being given a hint, what do you guys think? ![]() tom |
